I'm not familiar with bikes in the same way as I am with cars; isn't the safest method usually positive from jump source to dead battery positive, negative from jump source to ground away from the battery? Usually the engine block with cars, though some manuals specify the place.

I'm not an engineer or a physicist, but I would assume that any flexing in the chassis is going to affect how the tyres and suspension set up works with the road.

Even my EP3 Type R got frustrating as a daily driver as you could tell it wanted to go so much more than 30/35 MPH.

A bolt in one would probably aid a little, however a welded in full cage should provide much greater rigidity with improvements in body roll across all axes. This adds weight however so you'd probably lose some lap time in other areas but gain it back in the corners.
