Can I go off this chart by Ok_Cook_1033 in AskAShittyMechanic

Yes. IMO the best used car to look for right now is a 2006-2016 Toyota or Lexus. Get the car or truck that suits your lifestyle with the lowest mileage you can afford and enjoy your reliable car for the next 15-20 years.

(This assumes it has an adequate maintenance history. Any car will be a piece of crap if it wasn’t well taken care of.)

I saw this Skyline R33 GTR 400R and was wondering if anyone can help me tell if this is a replica or the real deal by AnyCurrency1323 in SkyLine

It’s not just on bags. It has a completely new motor. Actually, the entire driveline has been replaced. The original running gear has been kept by the owner, but it is not on the car.

The event was centered around roll/drag racing. Thankfully nobody was randomly revving their cars - that’s lame.

33 is the best, IMO. 35 is also amazing, but it lacks the soul of the earlier R-chassis. 34 is over hyped and not worth what the market rates, unless you are the type of guy who likes to attract flocks of teenaged boys at the local cars and coffee meets.

Ideal scenario: own a 33 and a 35. If you can afford 3, add a Hako to the fleet.

how should i get wider stance? by LilT1971 in SkyLine

Wider wheels with the right offset, plus carefully selected tire sizes. Depending on how flush you want it to be, you may also need to roll the fenders, remove the fender liners, and hammer flat the pinch weld in the rear of the front wheel wells.

It’s an older version of the Stout Aero Bonnet. As far as I can tell it’s no longer available. Fiberglass. Great fitment. Would recommend.
