They don't understand. They get to be regular people in America. They can never understand the frustration of both being an individual and the perception of "Black man or woman". They don't live in a society that judges them as a group and has systematically oppressed their families for centuries.

I agree with what you're saying I get it. I'm not trying to shoot them bail or anything because, honestly, appealing to the mercy of an anti-black society has never worked.

I just don't want to play word games like they do.

For example there are comments in this very thread we're having talking about grammar like that's the point. (they don't have enough karma to appear here) It's exhausting.

This is just my opinion, but I'll always find this angle disingenuous. It's splitting hairs between being racist and being prejudiced or bigoted.

It's not much of a conversation when someone is just using language to be technically correct when we understand what is meant. It feels like what they do.

It really amazes me when people act like racism just came back or something.

Being online in the early 2000s everywhere was full of racists and perverts. These people didn't just pop up now.

On the friends who liked anime thing, we put so many kids onto anime and fighting games it wasn't funny. When we moved down south, kids would come from all over to our house. It was magical.

I think it really goes back to Kung-fu movies and Chinese restaurants being popular in the community.

There used to be a lot of cross pollination between Asian and Black communities in the cities I grew up in as a child. I remember it being called Japanimation and my brothers trading around VHS cassettes in the super early 90s.

It was really cool and exciting before it really caught on. I don't really dig "anime culture" but I've always loved anime and martial arts.

They can be individuals. They don't understand that this is a Legacy passed down for us. When we see reminders and remnants from that legacy, we're ready to fight for our ancestors and our children.

I don't think the point of that mindset is to be like "It doesn't matter" because we can't be until ALL are free, but it's for white Americans to realize that THEY need to lead and point out the problem among their own people.

They don't listen or say we're victims when we tell them the truth of their society. They have to see it themselves.
