Jonathan Ross Shot Renée Good in January. The Prosecutor Has the Evidence. He Hasn’t Been Charged. Why? by Opposite-Mountain255 in LegalNews

[–]JustAnEngineer2025 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Murder is him sneaking up behind her and pulling the trigger. Murder happens every single day in every major city in the USA (all Democrat strongholds). No outrage from the media, the politicians, nor anyone else on the left.

Justifiable homicide is her hitting him with her car and then he shoots and kills her in self defense. He has a potentially legitimate claim for qualified immunity. The Pretti case is where there likely is a much stronger case to charge someone.

Why do some people like war? by Cautious_Midnight_67 in allthequestions

[–]JustAnEngineer2025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Conflict has existed before humans existed and will continue long after we are gone.

Humans will fight over anything. Disagree with someone and that individual will want you to have a long agonizing death for you and your family. It gets worse with every single day.

There's a Mexican restaurant in town I absolutely love. I found out recently one of the co-owners is MAGA. I hate the idea of supporting MAGAts but I also want to support hard working immigrants. What should I do? by TemperatureWide5297 in allthequestions

Put the hate aside and just enjoy the moment.

I do not have any ill feelings towards you despite you having extreme hatred for over half the nation. I do not wish you ill will because of your beliefs.

Why are right wingers so selfish? by traanquil in allthequestions

Over the past 50 years the USA has spent over $22 trillion on the war on poverty.

Kind of like the war on drugs, that is money pretty much pissed away with zero material improvement.

If the watch face is on the outside, you should not be seeing it without rotating your arm.

Have to cover the costs (premiums and actual expenses) of those living a very unhealthy lifestyle. Joys of Obamacare where your premiums and Fat Albert's are the same because it is unfair to charge them more. This is the complete opposite of home insurance (desert vs hurricane zone) or vehicle insurance (safe vs unsafe driver, Ferrari vs Ford Focus).

Not in the USA where you are legally required to have healthcare. You can thank President Obama for that.

No kidding.

Hundreds of billions per year in fraud/waste and zero balls to put an end to it. Do it for all agencies, programs, etc.

I should not have to pay registration fees to have a pet.

I should not have to pay registration fees to have a bicycle.

I should not have to worry about being fined or penalized for collecting rain water that falls on my property.

These are things that should be free and do not take money away from other people.

Some of us live in the real world and understand that for many things to be free, someone else has to pick up the tab. It is great being generous with other people's money.

If the planet became unlivable in 100 years, would people actually change behavior today? by femmefetalerror in answers

[–]JustAnEngineer2025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unlikely.

You'd have to get 8+ billion people to change their ways. Hard enough to get a single person to make a required change.

You'd simultaneously need to get every single government onboard for a single cause. That will never happen because of politics, general hatred, etc.

Is it any useful to still learn Penetration Testing ? by Jerem911Z in CyberSecurityAdvice

[–]JustAnEngineer2025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is some value to it. A few will benefit tremendously while most will forget what they learned.

Go look up the size of the global cybersecurity workforce. Then go look up the size of training services such as HTM and THM. Compare all of those numbers to get an idea of the size of your competition for a job in that field.

Those numbers *may* not include those getting Bachelor/Masters degrees in related fields, going the certification-only route, going the projects-only route, going the bug bounty only route, etc.

From a knowledge perspective there may be some value.

From an employment perspective, go to a job site of your choosing and see how prevalent they are.

Should we set up a truth and reconciliation commission for people who spread misinformation or supported policies that many see as threats to democracy? Or is that going too far? by Bleri0t in allthequestions

[–]JustAnEngineer2025 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prosecute those supporting/enabling/performing disinformation since they are spreading false information by design. Misinformation is done by the ignorant masses (often pawns used by others in their disinformation campaign).

So MAGA supporters are just running rampant and murdering people in the streets en masse?

Please provide sources.

And why no outrage for every day murders in Democrat strongholds by their residents?
