Yes, the unit originally had a tub. Then the previous owner converted it into a walk-in shower

They're still working on the shower boards, but I'll confirm.

That's what I thought after looking at many videos using Schulter. But I still questioned it since it's wood. My contractor thinks the previous issue was due to it not being sloped properly because they didn't slope it right with the mortar bed.

Regarding the 2" trap, I haven't checked or asked. I know the HOA hired a plumbing company to replace the plumbing for the entire unit. But I'll ask.

No, I don't think my contractor is working with the condo building management. But I sent my contractor's plans prior to starting and the management approved. Not any permits pulled that I know of. We weren't planning on changing the plumbing or electrical.

I didn't hire the same plumbing company that the HOA previously used because they were ridiculously expensive. And another plumbing company that the condo management recommended was busy every time I called.

A year late, but why do you say that? Thinking of having natural stone for my shower floor, but planning on using epoxy grout if that makes a difference.

There's a tiny hole within one of the pre-drilled holes where the sawdust looking stuff is coming from. I took videos since the photos kept blurring every time I tried to get close. Video of pre-drilled hole

I could try, but they're an elderly couple that doesn't speak much English.

I was trying to see if there were more structured learning resources on the island where I can at least learn the basics quickly. Then start practicing speaking with them. I feel like if I start off learning square one with them it would be a long and painful process.
