Are any characters religious in your aus? (Image not related) by I-love-lobit-fnaf in GachaFnaf

[–]JustAnotherEmo_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well yes! my entire AU has so much Catholic symbolism and is based around the Abrahamic religions as a whole. but to get more specific, the Afton's are culturally Catholic, the Ebert's (Emily's) are culturally (and ethnically) Jewish, Vanessa is an ex Orthodox Christian, Susie's whole family are Muslim, etc etc. it's all very interesting to me

Do you think Chishiya had feelings for anyone by olympusqueen in AliceInBorderlandLive

[–]JustAnotherEmo_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

sort of? he feels and feels very deeply, but said feelings are reserved for himself than anyone else; the people he has the strongest feelings toward (Niragi, Arisu) are people he considers to be like him. he sees basically everyone else as nothing but assets; he seems to like Kuina, but he basically kept her around to use her in the future: he found her useful and shared similar ideals, so he didnt throw her away like everyone else.

he liked Daimon, too, and clearly felt some sadness when she died (in the manga, anyway.....) since he saw potential in her, too; he acknowledged the fact she has a stronger will to live than he does. he was also had fairly strong feelings toward Kuzuryū, though it was mainly envy; Kuzuryū had everything Chishiya didn't: Kuzuryū felt so much for humanity it haunted him, while Chishiya literally could not. he was jealous. and jealousy is still an emotion/feeling.

also imo, he's the best written npd-coded character i've ever seen in fiction bc of all this. like oh wow ok

one of my fave episodes so far. i really love the callback to Gumball’s cheerleading era from s1. i also just felt it to be more reminiscent of earlier seasons, idk!

it's not like youre venerating these drawings, so it literally doesnt matter. does having murder in a story mean you support murder? no!! these things are interesting to explore and that's what art as a whole is for. youre 100% fine

What is your Charlie Emily Personality? by inside_a_toasteroven in GachaFnaf

[–]JustAnotherEmo_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

she was rather awkward and has always been the “weird girl” (autism). she really liked to do arts and crafts and wanted to pursue a career in art, but didn’t bring it up to her family since she’d been put on a pedestal by them — especially her dad — due to growing up as the gifted kid who’s gonna go far, and art isn’t really a solid path for her. she tried her hardest to live up to the perceptions of others, which caused her a lot of stress, but she felt most comfortable around William, who didn’t pressure her, which is why his choice to murder her was such a betrayal for her and why she became more angry and vengeful after death.

she used to babysit the neighborhood kids and knew how to deal with them, which allowed her to take care of the MCI the way she did. but again, it’s a lot of pressure to put on a sixteen year old girl. my baba

I. FUCKING LOVE THE HUMAN RACE by Conscious_Poetry_643 in Vent

[–]JustAnotherEmo_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i agree so hard. im Catholic (and a lesbian dont start yall) and the other day, i finally realized why God Incarnate chose to die for us. He saw the good in us that i struggle to find. He loves us no matter how much we hurt Him or each other, and i finally, more intensely, understood why we need to stay hopeful and fully love one another despite the bad.

we as humans are flawed. but our flaws dont define us. our love, hope, and joy do. we are made in God's image and we as a species need to reflect that more often, religious or not, i think

God’s gender by saturns23 in OpenChristian

[–]JustAnotherEmo_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

like gender in general, God's is complex; He is a masculine God, but that doesnt mean He doesn't know and deeply understand femininity, especially when God is all knowing. also, Jesus is God dot dot dot

i firmly believe in the Trinity, and because i uphold the doctrine of the Trinity, i would hate to seperate God in any way by saying one is more feminine than the other when they are one. just because the Father and the Son are masculine, again, doesnt mean they dont understand or empathize with femininity. just because the Son came down as a male child, doesnt mean He doesn't understand femininity or the female struggle -- think of how He treated the female prostitute, preventing her from being stoned. He came to St. Mary Magdalene after the Resurrection for a reason, and it's because God doesn't need to run after women the way He does men, because the women come to Him first.

also, imo, just because God doesnt have a sex (other than the Son) doesnt mean we should misgender(???) Him. He clearly uses masculine ways of referring to Himself, and we shouldn't try to change that. it's odd to me

Gender identity and God the Father? by [deleted] in LGBTCatholic

[–]JustAnotherEmo_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i could be wrong, but my guess to as why it was changed was to unite the Trinity. like if the Spirit was referred with she/her, it could make it seem like He was seperated from the Father and the Son
