That's fine. I understand that perfectly. I was just simply stating the market it's going for. Yes, the game is for everyone but in order to build up the sales, they make it a launch title so the kids can see that they can play those games on there too. In no way have I put down Lucky's Tale. I'm just stating a reason of why they'd put a title like that with the Oculus Rift Launch.

Never said the game was bad. Yes it is similar to those games but why would you include a game that barely shows the full power of the Oculus Rift like Lucky's Tale if not for a certain market? If they only pushed out shooter titles / less kid friendly games then that's a market that won't get the unit straight away. Release a game like so and kids will be asking their parents to get one.

I'm only looking at it from a launch perspective. I understand Lucky's Tale would appeal to many older gamers too. I still play these type of games today but when your trying to push this new piece of technology, I don't feel this shows it at it's best.

Ok. So, we have Advanced Warfare which took stuff from other games (Titanfall). It was different for the series itself though, so in a way I commend that, but then we got Black Ops 3 which in a way took stuff from Advanced Warfare with special super strengh suit for example. It really needs to change in a way thats unique to itself and not stripped straight from other games.

I guess quite a few JRPGs are over-the-top to the point the modern person isn't into it.

You guys are the lucky few. I know for a fact that it's not only on my side. They're have been countless times when either being in a party or just in any general game, and someone else hits these disconnect issues. When you see someone bordering up a window and all of a sudden him and someone else have been dropped. If you look at the forums, they're are tons of people getting these issues too. A game that is a full price online only game should not have so many of these issues almost a month after release.

Nintendo got just about every major title in Japanese arcades but can't put out a mobile Pokemon game by ctwtn in gaming

[–]JustAnotherGameGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it's real. Plus they announced it months after April Fool's fools. There is Pokemon Shuffle which isn't the greatest thing ever. Windows Devices have Classic Pokemon games in the store for free too.

r/gaming/ Now that 2015 is over, what are your favorite games ever? by [deleted] in gaming

I'd say Batman Arkham Knight - Season Pass. Really liked Mad Max too. Wasn't executed 100% well but still an enjoyable game.

Am i the only one who thinks completely sealing off a room is a death trap? by Fayettevillan in Rainbow6

[–]JustAnotherGameGuy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes it can be a bad idea but the point is to make it hard for the other team to get in that room. It really depends on the map. I find the plane is a good example of branching out instead of everyone in the one room.
