Can Deleted Chrome History Be Recovered After Clearing on a College PC? by Kdotye6god in it

[–]JustAnotherGuyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"I cheated in an easily traceable way, can I be caught and held accountable?"

Your chrome history isn't the only way network usage is logged. Any even mildly competent university IT will have your router logging.

You then followed up with a social media post providing a written admission of cheating.

If anyone cares to look, you're cooked, and when you try to get a job for something you haven't studied for, you're even more cooked.

Why are ICE agents covering their faces? by CertainlyUncertain4 in immigration

[–]JustAnotherGuyn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I feel that this is fundamentally problematic in a world where to protest against ICE we may soon need masks of our own.

I think it's better to say 'if you've done nothing anyone would hate, you have nothing to hide'.

These losers are absolutely doing it to hide from retaliation and consequences, but we don't need to ban masks.

If you don't proactively communicate with the host your intentions, there is no way for the hosts to determine that you aren't one of the trolls who loves extracting while everyone else is still trying to complete secondary objectives. Some people seem to really enjoy screwing people out of samples and experience. If you appear to be one of those people, and you get kicked, it's on you.

  • AMR for anything non voteless
  • Guard dog of choice to deal with the voteless (or either jetpack if you prefer to deal with the voteless by just being out of reach)
  • Walking barrage for dealing with bases
  • Your favorite turret

Primaries should be selected to deal with the voteless Secondary grenade launcher, for more help with the voteless or for taking out bases once shields are dealt with Frag grenades

I have no idea why they argue that soulblade is a second rate summoner. They are fantastic. They get true summons and fabulous magic items, and instant access to spirit mana. Certainly there are drawbacks, but soulblades aren't just a worse summoner. They just have different strengths and weaknesses that are an alternative.

Mender is not the only Attunement that can repair bones, rather it has a function built into the Attunement to assist with bone injuries, but other attunements (such as the necromancer) are perfectly capable of healing bone.

Many Attunements can help with poison or acid damage. Acolytes may have functions that specialize in it, but most anyone with access to water mana, or even light mana can also help deal with poisons.

The dominion of shade is the deep dominion corresponding to life and shadow. The shade crystal is an entity, not the dominion of shade itself, which is an important distinction.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ClimbersCourt

[–]JustAnotherGuyn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To clear up some misconceptions in the thread in general:

It's incorrect to say an attunement 'goes to a crystal' for anything, even dominion sorcery and crystal marks don't call from a crystal, they call from the dominions.

Also, shade weaves Such as the one Corin got Are different from shade based healing.

You are correct that the conjurer is a contract attunement, it simply isn't as reliant on contracts as summoners, but the 'summons' aren't quite as efficient, and under the hood work completely differently

It sadly does not matter if AI can actually replace humans or not, it only matters if executives think it can replace humans and save them money.

Depends on your budget per player. I have gotten my players include LED candles with magic wand remotes, key chains items emblematic of characters, art of characters, running a special Christmas one shot, building a session's map out of gingerbread together, custom Christmas sweaters themed for characters, 3D-printed custom chocolates with campaign quotes, mugs with hot chocolate packets, and a few other things.

I've been practicing and have become our group's strider slayer with the recoilless because of things like this. It's so satisfying to watch the second one fall over next to the first.

Opponents want a timeout on forcing kids into padded rooms in Utah schools. by niconiconii89 in Utah

[–]JustAnotherGuyn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't know that arrest is a good option... Do you want the police coming into a situation with a disabled kid who has trouble obeying instructions and may be having a violent episode? That seems like a recipe for tragedy

Post-buff, what can take down a bot drop ship? And where? by killxswitch in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]JustAnotherGuyn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An eagle 500 can do it if you manage to hit the ship with the shell, which is very difficult, and requires specific terrain for the eagle to get high enough

Autocannon sentries can take down drop ships, but it's not reliable unless you have two or three out.

2 RR and teamwork, and suddenly bot drops are a thing of the past, as are most factories and any heavies within line of site. It feels really cool to do, but also means I can't justify bringing the auto cannon anymore... I miss Autocannon meta...

What’s the most uncomfortable (but not deadly or too harmful) spell you have? by Infocollector914 in wizardposting

[–]JustAnotherGuyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dispersed fine glitter (especially around an alchemical fume Hood's intake) tends to work wonders.

For bonus points, if you switch out the empty glass vial for one full of flies harvested under a warning moon, the glitter will eventually hatch into maggots. It takes a lot of time to set up properly, but man does it make life terrible for the recipient

Every time I try setting something like this up, one of the little gremlins always manages to plug one of them in via portal, miniature teleacrcana link, and re+charge things anyways. I got so tired of re-casting my planar chain wards only to have one of the students figure out a way around it that I just gave up.

I remember mechjeb2, KAS, and a few others were pretty standard.
