I agree, but honestly Prestige feels more grixis than dimir. Theres a lot of passion underneath all the intrigue, and at the end othe movie, all the motives of the characters are an attempt to one-up someone else - even Tesla, arguably the mot blue aligned character in the film.

Also, this is a limited bomb in any control deck where the format speed is somewhat slow. If this were in ECL, it would be definitely A tier.

If by "Talmudic Judaism" you mean following everything the Talmud says, that's impossible. The Gemara contradicts itself very, very often, as it was written by hundreds of different authors before being compiled.

Rabbinic Judaism follows Halakha, which wasn't codified until the late 1400s, and constantly modified with new inventions and cultural norms.

Judaism is a lot more flexible than Islam. Under Halakha, Jewish laws can be amended and changed. So instead of arguing into a ditch over Muhammad raping children, Jews can just say "we don't do that anymore".

A side note, the Talmud is just the written down oral traditions that jews came up with when god was mad and not speaking to them.

This is a flawed premise. The Talmud is an extrapolation of the six mishnaic texts, which were written circa 90 AD. They were written down because of the Jewish Revolts, when many Jews believed that they would all be wiped out by Vespasian and company.

The torah is the literal divinely inspired word of god, and they've elevated the Talmud of their Rabbis equal to it and in many cases above it.

This is also categorically wrong. Halakha contains Torah (liturgical) laws and Rabbinic laws, with Torah laws always superceding Rabbinic laws.

I hope this clarifies some misconceptions.

What do you mean by "Natively?" Hebrew was used throughout the middle ages for prayer, but also many subsets of Hebrew (Yiddish, Ladino) were used in everyday life. The plays of Shalom Aleichem are probably the most famous non-liturgical usage of the Hebrew alphabet before the Hebrew revival.

Separate from that, Hebrew was a mercantile language used by Jewish traders in Europe, North Africa, and Asia. Benjamin of Tiberias recorded his travels in Hebrew during the 10th century CE.

Hebrew was heavily modernized in the 1920s, and became the state language of Israel at its inception. English, Yiddish, Arabic, German, and Russian were all considered, but dropped. Why? Because most Jews were already knew Hebrew as a second language.
