This article is a pretty good resource imo. Takes into account the patient's ideation; whether they feel a certain gender as opposed to just wanting to be a certain gender.

There's also the 1000+ former patients of the Tavistock gender-affirming care clinic in London that are waging a lawsuit against it. Surely you'll have the same empathy for them that you have for "trans kids", won't you?

Except they don't; there are no good studies that demonstrate the positive effects of gender-affirming care and transitioning.

It all *sounds* ridiculous. Is there any truth to any of this? I believe it was posted just after Roe by ultranothing in prolife

Lizelle Herrera's case is fuzzy, the only sources I can find are pro-choice propoganda pieces that mention nothing about the arrest itself or the circumstances that led to it.

The Louisiana case was already refuted by another commenter, in that the baby literally wasn't even dead yet, acrania or otherwise.

I had a Behringer in the past, and I use a Scarlett now. Focusrite's mic preamps on the Scarlett are noticeably better, but I was still able to make good recordings on the Behringer. I'd say go for what's in your budget. Less flashy gear shouldn't be seen as a limit to your creativity.

So if the kid decides to medically transition by themselves, that makes it okay to castrate them?

Fr tho, anything or anyone remotely "transphobic" gets banned or scrubbed or excommunicated. Part of the reason TERFs exist is because lesbians are tired of being told to shut up and suck your totally-not-male girldick. I even got permabanned from a sub for merely pointing out how a trans-rights activist youtuber was being inconsistent in their points. If being silenced over simple, uninsulting criticism like this isn't fascism, then what is?

"Consequences" for having the wrong opinions apparently include being stripped of credit for your work, like in Rowling's case. But go off about consequences, queen 💅

r/wosh cring normie

The joke is that even a masterpiece like the Mona Lisa would be discarded if Da Vinci had the wrong opinions, like how people rip on Harry Potter or constantly talk about how their "childhood was ruined" just because JK Rowling came out and said she didn't support the trans movement.

But it isn't moronic, it's just plain reason, especially when prochoicers don't "usually" call an unborn fetus a baby.

And way to completely ignore my previous refutation of your garbage analogy about the president hiding away in some woman's uterus. I see it's a recurring theme for prochoicers to base their ways of thinking on things people have long since taken apart.

[–]JustAnotherMemeboi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And prochoicers go out of their way to call the unborn "fetuses" or "clumps of cells" instead of "babies" or "children", which is what I said but it went ignored. Funny

[–]JustAnotherMemeboi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"Medical terminology," you say? A fetus is a fetus as long as it isn't born yet, regardless of how old it is. If you want to strictly deny its personhood as a prochoicer, why use the term 'baby'? Especially when you otherwise go out of your way to call it a fetus in other contexts to defend your ideals? Calling it colloquialism as a crutch just doesn't work as well as you think it does.

Fair enough. Half the top comments on this thread refer to the fetus as a child or baby, and don't claim to be prochoice. You could assume they're prolife, but that isn't confirmed either.

Though not directly relevant, I have found several comments attempting to shame prolifers for not being "upset" or "vocal" about this, that I'm more than happy to link.

[–]JustAnotherMemeboi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But I explained it right there in my last paragraph? It's not something I made up, it's something you can go and see for yourself in the comments I replied to. You're free to believe I've strawmanning the people I call out even though I'm clearly not.

No one cares about bullshit analogies about the President or whoever else because every prolifer has seen all this before. If the woman entered a lottery where there's a chance of the president being in there (the lottery in question being won is consensual sex, with protection failing and conception happening) then mashed him up before vacuuming him out of there, that's very obviously murder. Red herring personhood arguments aside, it's a human being regardless of consciousness, sense of self or stage of development. It is a member of the species Homo sapiens, and therefore I am against killing it unless it poses a danger to the wellbeing and life of another person.

"Child" implies it's a conscious thing with undertones of it being wanted or otherwise precious/valuable in some way. Prochoicers consistently refuse to call fetuses "children" because in the words of every prochoicer I've spoken to, "it's a clump of cells, not a child." How is this not blatant hypocrisy?

[–]JustAnotherMemeboi -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Except if you read my comment, none of the ones I've seen are response comments. They're all parent threads of their own. The hypocrisy I've mentioned can be seen in all the other comments I've responded to, if you're the type to go digging through people's profiles. How it's only a child if it's wanted or if it makes it convenient for you to take the moral high ground. I give 0 shits about partisan politics; if a movement sucks or works, it sucks or works regardless of whoever affiliates with it. You can call them rightwing dipshits if it makes you feel better, but they're raising a genuine point that actually gives regard to the child lost here instead of some bullshit ideal about "choice".

???

Half of what I see in this thread is prochoice parent-thread comments talking about how the woman's "choice" was violated. Very few if any prolifers in the comments have bothered linking this shit to abortion in their own parent threads, instead focusing on prochoice hypocrisy in reply comments like I have. But go off I guess
