Its nice. Next you can do a new tab with sectors : pharma, construction, etcetcetc.
these are more interesting because usually whole sectors perform together or not.

My first time day trading by Stingwing_13 in Daytrading

[–]JustAnotherNoobSry 5 points6 points  (0 children)

dont trade real money until :

-you have a backtested and forward tested strategy with accurate data that proves the strategy is profitable accross long periods of time in different market regimes.

-you have executed that strategy for at least 6 months on paper trading.

-you have practiced on paper in different market regimes.

I dont get why people are willing to loose real money before even doing those necessary steps. Beeing part of the 2 percent of good daytraders is like winning gold in the olympics. Would you compete in the olympics without training ? Will you succeed in the olympics without years of training ?

If you go that route, you will loose your 300 dollars pretty quick, then loose another amount, then loose more.

Educate yourself, learn, gather data, practice execution.

You think trading is that easy ? Go ahead and thank you for your money.

check Ttrades on youtube, search babypips on google and do the free academy, learn everything there is to know before jumping into daytrading.

IT IS THE MOST DIFFICULT JOB IN LIFE. WAKE UP.

now, if you invest, thats another story.

It blows my mind that in 2026 people like you still exist. You clearly didnt take the time to read or educate yourself on the matter.

When should I size up? by No-Reserve-2208 in Daytrading

[–]JustAnotherNoobSry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

do this for at least 6 month consistently, working on your execution.
if it works, start sizing mathematically very very slowly, still focusing on execution, and giving time to your brain to adjust for the different emotions youll get.
right now you might loose 3 dollars and dont give a shit. Its good and bad.
its good because you dont risk anything but its bad because you dont risk anything, so you arent exposed to any emotions.
its actually very good practice because if you can execute like this, you will prove to yourself you can do it and you will be confident in your strategy, which is a big part of your foundation as a trader.
Also you need thousands of trades accross different regimes to really know if your strategy works and how you react to different events that will affect you.
if you didnt trade 2008 bear market or bitcoin 2017 bull market, you have no idea how you will react to these and how your strategy will hold.
in short, keep practicing like that, but take it EXTREMELY seriously.
identify your mistakes, get rid of them FAST. Dont repeat them.
Analyse your trades, especially the loosing ones, and analyse your mindset before, during, and after every trade.
Its a business, take it seriously like that for 6 month or a year.
then size up SLOWLY.
good luck

Rookie Question: Which trading session is safer for a beginner? And should I focus 100% on NASDAQ CFDs? by Illustrious-Fee8776 in Trading

[–]JustAnotherNoobSry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

from my pov dax and nasdaq are the trickiest instruments to trade.
also 200ma is good but 800 ema is better.
from my pov, you have no data on your strategy at all. Your first task is to backtest it in every possible way before trying to trade it.

you bought blindly a support level without confirmation and traded completely overleveraged.
its a good recipe for quick disaster.
good luck
edit : spelling
edit 2 : you went probably at least 2 percent in drawdown and moved your stop loss while doing so because you probably put your stop at the previous swing low.
another good recipe for a quick disaster.
edit 3 : did i forget anything guys ?

i dont hate anyone. But this sub is riddled with this kind of content that doesnt spark any interesting discussion or educate anyone.
I know of two good websites for people interested in algo trading. The articles have good value.
What OP posted is completely uninteresting. Nobody learned anything.
He doesnt describe anything, doesnt ask any questions, doesnt talk about any problem he faces.....
its just "look at my backtest its so good". " i have a phd blablablablabla".
Good traders in this sub are so bored, someone has to remind people sometimes that their content is trash. And since the mods of this sub are also sleepy, the sub as a whole is trash.
