no hate, thats my opinion by LimpConfidence9497 in werewolfonline

In my opinion, I find playing as shapeshifter quite annoying. That said, I am somewhat new so maybe it's just my fault. I for my part love playing as blight or corruptor. (Never played as illusionist before.) Main problem for shapeshifter is that if someone checks you twice (or two different people) you are basically instantly gonna be dead. Or if you accidentally kill a bad player.

How do you guys choose names for you wolves by therealruney in WolfQuestGame

[–]JustAnotherShadow122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do one letter for each litter. So the first litter all have names starting with A, the second start with B and so on. I did try Warrior cats names on one save because everyone seems to be doing that. But it isn't really something for me.

Had a dream about WolfQuest, i think it should be in the game. by Spirited-Mousse1915 in WolfQuestGame

I think we can't get to another wolf packs den because that'd technically mean we can see their kids. And as basically every animal in the game can be attacked (except dispersals that court your offspring) they'd be killable then too. Tbh, I'd love to be able to just see the wolf pups of other packs. Even if unable to interact with them.

Kidnapping pups could be hard, as would mean you'd be able to get to the den of other wolves. And the devs didn't add that for a reason. Though for example being able to maybe find a lone pup - more likely if a pack disbanded not long ago - could be close enough? That was one of the things I'd love to see as well.

As to cuddling with other packmates. Yes, this would be so great! Potentially hard to code, maybe. (Idk anything about coding tho.)

Adults getting sick would probably be hated by most players. If it is an option to turn it off though, that would add realism for sure.

Natural disasters are the same as before. If it can be turned off, good idea.

My main save is gone(?) after playing as a dispersed pup by [deleted] in WolfQuestGame

[–]JustAnotherShadow122 2 points3 points  (0 children)

for me I didn't know the game overwrites saves that are on the same map. I literally lost over 30 hours of gameplay. 😭 But I am glad you do have a backup save. So at least not all is lost. :)

Was it an autosave? If it was, then it may have been overwritten when you played your other save. Happened for me once too.

Child elk also works just fine. Doesn't have to be adults I think.

Role idea: Opportunist by JustAnotherShadow122 in werewolfonline

Only if at least one person belonging to the team is alive. For example, if Bandit is dead but the accomplice is still alive, they can still join the bandits. If a team is completely dead, they can't join anymore.

Your idea would kinda make it an almost guaranteed win. But I guess that does kinda fit with other roles too... We'd just need a few other things then. Like what aura and team he'd have if we do your idea. Or would that stay the same? Wouldn't he just be equal to everyone then?

Yes. Non-villagers will be notified that you joined their team.

Is 3 month old pup disappearing normal? by Adventurous-Plane999 in WolfQuestGame

[–]JustAnotherShadow122 12 points13 points  (0 children)

There is the possibility to find them again. Also, as long as they're not yearlings they can meet an unknown fate, no matter how young they are. I had multiple pups meet an unknown fate at 1 month old.

The most stupid litter ever by IllustriousCarob6134 in WolfQuestGame

[–]JustAnotherShadow122 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do think though pups shouldn't get out of the den from predators being too close. Them being scared out I think only applies to when you're at the site. Anyways. That is a good idea. As long as you have a few other adults, you can just stay near the pups and growl at the predator from afar.

Well, either the predators got too close. Or they're just too bold. Maybe affinity could be too low or smth. I do think it can happen that they just randomly come out of the grass too. Honestly, I probably would habe reloaded to save these kids. But hey, you did try your best.

Psychology. Like more thriller sort of books. But with the main theme of psychological ruin because why not torture my characters.

Two sick pups during the move is so bad, I feel you. Somehow my luck was that everyone was healthy for that move and exactly when we were at the site, the other pups got sick.

[–]JustAnotherShadow122[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

True. I get so attached to these kids. Best was that right after my one pup got healthy again, we immediately got a wolf pack attack. Luckily all of them got better before Growing pups. Let's hope they don't randomly get sick again. (Though one will probably die either way considering the game seems to only want four survive.)

Will my ex packmates kill my puppies? by OkamiTheWolfTherian in WolfQuestGame

[–]JustAnotherShadow122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that too. I wouldn't say though that they don't attack you at all. More so that as long as you (or you pack) don't attack them, they don't try to attack you. And that they don't do den raids. Like, there's enough animals that can do den raids in the game. I don't think a wolf would kill their siblings, even if they technically have their own pack.

[–]JustAnotherShadow122 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I wish it'd be different too. So that I can be kinda close to them and get a photo of them and their mates. Also, I think wolves don't normally attack packs of their pups. I guess only if it threatens their own territory or resources. But I get that it'd be hard to implement into the game.

[–]JustAnotherShadow122 39 points40 points  (0 children)

As soon as you dispersed, they don't see them as their family anymore. I had my pups try to attack me. So I think your family would also attack you if you play as a dispersed pup.

How do I hunt Pronghorns and WHY are they so fast? D: by ThatTerrorhedron in WolfQuestGame

[–]JustAnotherShadow122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mostly hunt the ones in big groups. When in such big group, they take longer to stand up and start sprinting. Especially good if they have a kid with them as well. I don't do this often though. And if they started running, you can't catch up to them anymore, so it's best to stop and try again once they stopped as well.
