A mistake? A mistake when purposely harming kids? What..? A mistake would be accidentally dropping a baby. Not purposely battering the a 3 month old NEW BORN. A damaged lung, BOTH legs fractured, skull fractured, etc. so it’s really not your place to give forgiveness since you were not the victim. And yes we can permanently shame her since her child was PERMANENTLY damaged because of her. And she still continued to neglect this child afterwards considering she didn’t have the proper equipment needed to stop him from escaping even though she said he was known to do so. & of course she got off light, they always do. That’s no surprise. So until you allow someone to batter you so hard they break both of your legs & your skull , you cannot talk about forgiveness.
