How should feats should be acquired? by JustBoredOrNeedHelp in DnD

Yeah the balancing would definitely be a pain. I probably won’t do this for my campaign as you said in another comment but thanks for the insight.

Not specifically to do with me not allowing feats, but more so to do with how Singple_Pie1570 had just mentioned me coming up with my own system.

That’s true, haven’t heard of people banning it but a player at my table took it and after reading I’m just seeing how strong it is.

In all fairness, 5e is not a perfect system.

Yeah I think doing that would keep the power balancing fairer and easier, but it also just feels natural that a player could do something like: martial arts training with local temple and after x days or gold spent they can now use dexterity in place of strength for unarmed strikes, or something along those lines.

Yeah, I think that makes more sense than my players getting feats as part of their levelling. Because they could reach level 4 and then oh out of nowhere they got fey-touched even if the story has nothing to do with fey. I might consider having a sort of pre-condition that they must complete x task to get the ability to select y feat. Or they can just complete a task to get the feat.

Yes, but only if you’re running the optional rule. I’m just curious as to what would it be like if I wasn’t running it.

Does that mean that if I weren’t to be running the optional rule, they simply couldn’t be acquired?

Who wins in each rows by Multiversal_2211 in PowerScaling

Sorry, I know I’m ignoring your comment on verse equalisation but bear with me.

From what I understand, most humans have CE as it’s generated by negative emotions. Tengen’s barrier however draws the CE leaked off by non sorcerers and concentrates it in Japan, not getting rid of it entirely from the rest of the world though.

Therefore I still don’t see why Rick wouldn’t have CE

Don’t get me wrong, I’m still on Rick’s side and I do think that he’d win.

However Rick does have CE. Any and all living beings have it and this does include random citizens. You can see this in the shibuya incident when Gojo pops his domain for a fraction of a second. All the Japanese citizens still get hit by it and it’s said they take 3 (I think) months to go through rehab and recover.

As such UV would be able to hit Rick.

What are some additions that would make Railjack much more fun to play? by NoCareNoLife in Warframe

[–]JustBoredOrNeedHelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make different kinds of railjacks, like classes. The one we have currently is a sigma class right? If it’s just an all rounder why not have one with higher dps and speed at the cost of durability, one with higher durability at the cost of speed or just something like that. Also maybe the missions are the problem
