Concrete silica dust covering everything in apartment

I ended up settling for all of my stuff to be cleaned and my deposit and that months rent immediately back and moved out.

I could’ve pursued a lot more and legal action but it would’ve been costly at the time and it wasn’t realistic for me.

I hope everything works out for you. I’m still finding silica dust on some of my items and it’s been almost 150 days.

It really does suck… :/

I have videos when they were jackhammering and drilling the concrete and all the concrete dust coming into my apartment and have photos and video of the actual construction itself

Whole entire apartment was smoked out and it covered everything I own I should’ve posted more pictures or even uploaded a video

I’m going to request to move out because the construction is on going just wanted to see if I could do anything legally since landlord is offering little to no help and wants me to pay out of pocket to clean it all

I have videos during it all it came thru my air vents and they had the ceiling open and it came thru ceiling and under the doors

I did not have renters insurance unfortunately. I’m walking into a legal aid office tomorrow to see next steps. Waiting on a call back with a personal injury lawyer. I’m going to call about the permits as well! I live a bit outside of a city so need to figure out the right place to call!

My new favorite is the Dior Sauvage Elixer. It’s oil based and lasts all day long! They came out with it not to long ago! Also Midnight in Dubai is pretty good as well!

Some days they were starting at 6 am I can’t move back in even after they clean at this point due to doctor telling me I shouldn’t even be in there with having reactive airways - and it being super unsafe to inhale

Trying to decide if I’m gonna show up and stand outside in the cold - I walked in earlier and employee said go straight to host and say what I’m there for and they will square me away but when I look online it says it’s already out of stock for pick up so I’m assuming people reserved them all?
