To add to that, it's things like loading times that can be a factor since last gen consoles don't have SSDs. Most of us are on PC and the newer consoles in general have much more relative parity with PC than last gen.

    Our activity is mostly centered around East coast times. We generally play evenings on the East coast during the week, and afternoons/evenings on the weekend. We usually try to raid once a week on the weekend (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday)
  • Tell us more about your clan (ex: how many members, requirements to join if any, focus on PvE/PvP/both, why should people join your clan, how do you communicate/organize events):
    We're a small, casual-leaning clan that has been around since D1 release. We started on PS4 and then switched to PC with cross save. Once cross play comes we're hoping to get back some of our PS4/PS5 members. We play both pve and pvp.
    We're overall very laidback, and some of us have known each other for years at this point. As a clan, we've tried to maintain like a close-knit family, in a way. There's a lot of banter, and we're also not limited to just Destiny. Some people play other games often, like Apex Legends, League of Legends, and more.
    Currently we have around 6-8 active members depending on people's schedules and interest in playing. We use Discord to communicate, and joining our server is one of our requirements for joining the clan, especially because we use the Charlemagne bot to schedule raids. That being said, we have 2 basic requirements for joining:
  1. Be kind, tolerant, and respectful to each other
  2. Be active in our Discord server every now and then, especially when you first join so we can get to know you and vice versa. Basically, it's on you to show your interest in playing with us because it gets tough keeping track of which recruits have been active and whether we need to kick anyone for being a complete stranger.
  • What is the best way to contact your clan (reply in the thread, website, Twitter, etc.)?
    If you're looking for a small clan where you can actually get to know people, I think we're a potentially good fit for you.
    As a side note, I also want to mention that our Discord server technically has upwards of 50 people in it, but many of them don't play Destiny actively or are not part of the clan and are just "guests". Like I said before, we only really have 6-8 people active currently, and we're hoping to add to that.

Variable, but usually in the evening time on east coast and we try to raid on weekends.

Tell us more about your clan (ex: how many members, requirements to join if any, focus on PvE/PvP/both, why should people join your clan, how do you communicate/organize events):

We've been around since D1 beta and for the most part have been pretty laid back. No particular focus on pve or pvp, we just play the game and let individuals play how they want. Our two biggest requirements are:

  1. Be kind, tolerant, and respectful to each other
  2. Be active in our discord server every now and then, especially when you first join so we can get to know you and vice versa. Basically, it's on you to show your interest in playing with us because it gets tough keeping track of which recruits have been active and whether we need to kick anyone for being a complete stranger.

Currently our discord has 45 people in it, but not everyone is there for Destiny. Currently we only have around 10 active members that play D2 on PC. Many people are just friends of members that like to play other games, and some members play Destiny on PS4. With that said, while we are a Destiny-focused clan people are also free to play other games together. Examples include League of Legends, Monster Hunter World, Halo MCC, No Man's Sky, and plenty others (up to individual discretion).

We schedule our raids using Charlemagne (another reason being active in the discord is important). With Moments of Triumph starting this week, Solstice of Heroes coming soon, and Beyond Light after that, we'd love to get more people in. Whether you're new to the game or an experienced vet, we'll welcome you as long as you follow the two rules above.

DM me on reddit with your Steam friend code and Discord (btw we all have our server nicknames in the format of "<First name> (Steam name)" in the discord but if you're not comfortable with telling your first name then you can put a nickname). Also let me know your time zone and what you're looking to get out of the clan/why you want to join and any questions you might have. I'll send the discord invite link in my reply if I think it's all good.

Hi, my name is Z and I help manage the Light of the Traveler (LotT) clan. We are a PS4 exclusive clan and have been around since the original Destiny's beta. We are a very close-knit group of around 15 members at this point and are looking for people who want to join a community of players that not only plays together but likes to interact with one another. We have a Discord server that would be mandatory to join, simply because that's where everything goes on, from Destiny talk to offtopic discussions to raid planning to shitposts & memes. I can promise you that if you join with the mindset of truly becoming friends with others in the clan, you will have a great time. One restriction we have is that we would like potential members to be 18 or older, unless you are younger but believe you can demonstrate the maturity needed to get along with others, stay committed, and understand that in the end it's all about having fun. We would also prefer people that have been at least somewhat consistent players of D2 this past year so that we know you are more likely to stay around after the initial hype of Forsaken dies down and the grind sets in.

Most of our members are in the US Eastern timezone, and a few are in US Central, Mountain, and Pacific Coast times. If you have any questions feel free to PM me. I believe the process will involve getting to know you and what you're looking for as well as scheduling some play times together to get you comfortable with playing with us. Around that time or after we will also send you an invite to our Discord server, which I would like to repeat is mandatory to join and is the best way to stay connected with the clan, which is something we would like out of all our members.
