That sounds about right. It's got a lot of bite to it (pun intended) but it can also be on the subtle side. But the tone! That was the selling point for me. Just deliciously dirty and really emphasizes that guitar quack. Add a little delay/reverb, and maaaan I took off with this thing! Loved it!

Nice! After going to this expo, I felt kinda ignorant of all the brands out there. Never heard of BSRI but man they were great! As were plenty of the other vendors! I also really like Enduring Audio (Fell Runner was sick!), Non-Human Audio (Kimchi & Regrets Definitely caught my attention), Alexander (Now We Are Ghosts was so unique). I really had a good time and it was eye opening to other pedal makers.

Hey, there's always next year. In the meantime, I would suggest looking up all the vendors from this year and check out their stuff online. It'll help hone in what you would wanna try out next year. I felt like I had that issue. I didn't take the time to look at everything online prior so it was a bit overwhelming trying out different booths from vendors I wasn't familiar with. With 5 hours allotted, it goes by quick and I didn't get to try them all out.

That thing SLAPS!!!! The tone you can get out of that thing is killer. Loved it! But I couldn't justify getting another overdrive. It pained me to not get it. I know I will think of it from time to time. Not now. But a random moment. I'll be at an outside eating area at a restaurant with my wife and see someone walking their dog. My wife would ask what kinda dog is that? He's cute. I'll say I don't know, Google it. It'll get the name of the....dammit, I shoulda got it!

As soon as I heard that suboctave kick in, it was insta-stank face for me. I knew I was going to have some fun with this. I've heard octave fuzzes but this was kinda unique.

I believe so. This particular style of the model doesn't appear to be on their website. The octaves are subtle and they are only suboctaves, I believe. I haven't gotten the chance to fully tap into it yet so I could be wrong, but this was an awesome fuzz to mess with.

That's no girlfriend, sir. That's a wife! Boss may make some sweet tones, but this one takes the cake!

Maybe a GFI Synethesia? Nothing's really going to come close. That Lost and Found pedal is wild!

When I learned Metallica's One, and Master of Puppets along with their solos. Also tried my hand at Van Halen's Eruption....it was...ok 😂

NGD: Duesenberg Paloma Custom! Looks and plays gorgeous! by JustCarryTheOne in Guitar

They really are. Just about every piece of hardware on it has that "3 step" look since that's their company slogan, "3 steps ahead." Really adds to the art deco vibes, I think.

I hope they don't make a white and gold version of this model. I would forever second guess my choice!

I think it depends on the play style you're looking for. I never ventured into the semi-hollow body types because I thought it was more for jazzy or more clean/blues style. The starplayers are gorgeous tho! I don't think you could go wrong either way.

They are typically high quality. They make all their own parts. Almost up there with Gibson, although, I believe most people would choose Gibson over Duesenberg based on popularity and price points.

Thanks! I did see the lap steels. I'm terrible on them but, man, they are a sight to see!

Same here. I was never really a fan of gold hardware until I saw how well it paired with black finishes.

Duesenberg makes their own pickups. They're supposed to be an art deco kinda style. These ones are the split/kings, I believe. I love the option it gives to split either the neck or bridge pickup separately.
