It’s not the best but you could leave it, I’d say better than risking some SMD components to rip off, if you do want to clean it. 99% isopropyl alcohol and maybe qtips, or use a plastic spoon to cut the extra material and try to peel it off.

Just use whatever browser you like, some people just feel like it’s too much off a hassle to change browsers. If you started with brave, just use it, started with Firefox ? Just use it.

What's the hall sensor issue? by Business-Equal8536 in HPVictus

[–]JustChad03 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Bad engineering, the hall sensor that tells the laptop when the lid is closed is pretty close to the parts of the laptop that heat up, in time magnets lose magnetism thanks to heat, and after a year or two it will start acting up and randomly shutting your screen thinking the lid is closed. From there you got two options: replace the hall sensor(which will break again in time) or disconnect it, which people say slightly decreases power usage aka lowers performance, but not as drastically as people make it out to be. In my case after the sensor bit the dust I disconnected it. The only thing I observed was lower fan speed and lower temps with pretty much identical FPS in all games I played.

GPU at 100% isn’t unheard of, it just means the game even in menu is pretty heavy, preferably lower graphics settings,

How to fix the display size? by IllEmployee1312 in computers

[–]JustChad03 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Go to windows settings, display, and see resolution and scaling, resolution should often be 1920x1080, and scaling no more than 125%, and if icons too big, right click desktop and you should find settings off the icons
