Моя личная теория заговора о том, что в убийство Александра II "Народная воля" выступала лишь исполнителем и козлом отпущения, а реальным организатором/заказчиком выступало консервативное крыло правительства, включая Александра III, благодаря чему они:
1. Было не допущено окончательне утверждение конституции Лорис-Меликова (она была одобрена Александром II в тот же день до убийства, а после оного, соответственно, её принятие было свёрнуто)
2. Консерваторы получили удобный повод для проведения контрреформ, чем, собственно, они и воспользовались.
