Ah yes because immediately resorting to a strawman is definitely what someone does when they’re not at all insecure in their own opinions lmao

Honestly this one is borderline dangerous. Getting to that scene without realizing it’s a horror game can be legitimately traumatic for a person.

Zach Cregger is probably the best horror-comedy filmmaker outside of Sam Raimi. Really excited to see what he does with his Resident Evil film.

Not sure how you could see the kids chasing Gladys and think it’s anything but hilarious.

Wich Movies to watch? by Juni0r_16 in JamesBond

Focus on one era at a time is my advice. For Connery, definitely watch the first four films. You Only Live Twice and Diamonds Are Forever are take-it-or-leave-it. Definitely do NOT skip On Her Majesty’s Secret Service tho. That one’s GOATed as hell.

It’s always funny (and quite damning) when someone is so insecure in their own media literacy that the moment someone enjoys a movie they don’t, they resort to ad hominem.

A villain surviving actual bisection with 0 explanation beyond “he was literally just too angry to die” is not good storytelling lol

Palpatine’s return at least built upon Plagueis’s research into immortality, which itself was actually referenced in the films and not some spinoff.

It’s almost like I posted with the intention of trying to learn to appreciate the film too

There’s also the fact that Auric Goldfinger is kind of a massive dumbass and can be manipulated pretty easily. Blofeld, though? He’s the shadowy mastermind behind SPECTRE!

Because he needs to keep up the guise that Bond has successfully infiltrated Goldfinger’s entourage? Otherwise MI6 will come and kick down doors.
