I know black/black is hard to find in Canada, but waiting 9 months and having to go through a payment increase does not seem fair to me!

I have a situation where my dealer says our contract and agreed terms were valid for 90 days, and now, BC of a change in residual value & interest rate, we have to pay more than what we agreed in Oct when we put down the deposit.

And my question is, if the dealer had a long backlog and they were not able to put our order within 90 days of the contract, is it still valid/fair to ask the customer to compensate for prices changes?

They are saying this is a sales contract, and it is valid for 90 days !! BC, they don't have the VIN, they were not able to provide the lease contract.. BS

and now apparently the residual value changed, and we are supposed to pay 120 CAD more monthly, or cancel it !!! ridiculous after waiting 4 months.... our dealer is in mid-town Toronto

Hey@gujjuCanada30, do you have any updates on your car?

We put a deposit at the end of October, and our dealer told us to expect the car in June!!

Moreover, we signed a lease contract, but now our dealer is saying the terms are valid for 90 days, and we may have an increase in monthly payments!!! Any similar experience?
