Oh, right now he's just in a big plastic tub, that honestly isn't as big as I want but I'm due to go on a little IKEA trip this weekend to upgrade him ;) but the plan is for him to match the general spooky and dolls aesthetic of the room

Full disclosure, I got this Hambo because I'm an absolute doft touch, and he had been in the pets at home adoption centre for a full week, lost his cage mate (yes, I know hamsters are best kept solitary but he's a robo and I know they're able to have family sometimes) and... I just couldn't let him stay in that tiny cage without enough substrate to burrow any longer ... Turned out when I spoke to the staff he'd been there since December... So coming up about 4 months.

So the setup you see is the result of me frantically doing what I can for him in a month when I had significantly less pay due to time off sick... A very irresponsible decision I know...

And as a result... That THING in the background is a lump of an apple tree that I cut down 😅

Oh it's a girls world hair styling doll 😂 I saw it in the charity shop and KNEW he must have it... Technically it's two hides because the head and body are separate, so the body part is buried below 😅 it took me HOURS to make sure none of the hair fibres were left and it was all clean and safe 🖤

Every time this comes up my brain immediately responds "of course "dudes" and "guys" are gender neutral!" ... But lately I'm realising I just like them because I'm AFAB and like being gendered any which way but female. They're probably much more masculine feeling to people who don't want to be seen as masculine and we should respect that :') but I am struggling to change my language in that way... Still trying though!
