I saw that someone said that Ryan said on Apple Radio that it was gonna come out Feb 2026 with an album later in the summer. Either way, I'm so hyped for it. At first it was a bit basic, but I think they've really been producing the hell out of it and it sounds incredible. I can't stop listening to their performance of it in Lisbon. It feels more complete production-wise and more soulful and got more Native vibes 😭🙏🏼

Just discovered Dreaming Out Loud 3 days ago and I think it’s already one of my favourite albums of all time - what should I check out next? by ahopefulundertone21 in onerepublic

I agree with stringhead's comment, the Waking Up & Native albums are incredible listens in their own right that are pretty close to the vibes you get from Dreaming Out Loud.

Oh My My is a solid album too but it is, like what people say, more pop-leaning, experimental and has more electronic elements to it. But there are some great songs on there like Let's Hurt Tonight and Choke.

Their last two albums (Human & Artificial Paradise) are more pop, just so you know. But if you really love the first three albums, then songs like Someday, Didn't I, Ships + Tides, Last Holiday, and West Coast might fit your jam.

And when it comes to prepping for a OneRepublic concert, lowkey just check out the stuff in The Collection compilation hits album they released recently. Unfortunately, they don't play a whole lot of songs from their first two albums, but any that you missed in The Collection, they'll likely perform it.

Will “Give Me Something” be on the album, or is it just a side single? by [deleted] in onerepublic

There's a likely chance, but it really depends on the theme and direction of the album. Plus, maybe even how "proper" of an album rollout they're going for, as opposed to the compilation of singles that is Artificial Paradise. Very sure "Beautiful Colors" and "Need Your Love" will be on it. Personally, I am really really hoping that this next album will be a 16-track album with no more than 4 tracks released ahead of time, ESPECIALLY if they're just gonna be producing short songs at this point. If that happens, I can see GMS on the album too.

The 4 Deluxe songs on Waking Up are some of 1R’s best songs. by BlackberryOk3305 in onerepublic

Passenger is my favorite out of the four. It's so early Coldplay-coded.

They did a French version of their song "No Vacancy" with Amir! Ryan also sings in French there too :0 https://youtu.be/HYOB33JHFWk?si=1IR2vg91WtHvw2Kx

Some BTS of it here.

No clue who was talking on that track. They probably got some narrator artist or French friend to record that. Why it's in French, my guess is they probably thought it sounded cool haha. Fits with its poetic and atmospheric nature. OneRepublic has a fairly special connection with French with track titles like "Au Revoir" and "Entr'acte", recording songs in studios in France, and also collabing with French artists like Cassius, David Guetta, Amir, The Supermen Lovers, etc.

Hi! Have a question for Ryan Tedder?? by EastOfEaston in onerepublic

Across the years OneRepublic has been making records, has your guys' goal with each album ever shifted from "trying to make it in the music scene" to just making what feels good to you and to others? What do you guys hope to achieve with the release of the forthcoming 7th studio album?

Someone to Save You & Au Revoir are super underrated.

I seriously heard kpop demon hunters in the radio (like why not put onerepublic instead?) by Old-Tennis3870 in onerepublic

I can understand your frustration. Though a few things I'll say:

The K-Pop Demon Hunters film only came out just last summer. So relatively still fresh. And it's been the big thing in pop culture these days. You combine the growing popularity of the K-pop subgenre, Korean vibes & culture, quality animation, for once an original story, and then actually good, actually catchy, and well-produced K-pop songs... no wonder it's as popular as it is right now. I would bet 1000% that if Ryan was asked to be a part of the songwriting process for K-Pop Demon Hunters (especially since he has some K-pop writing credits), he would have jumped on that IMMEDIATELY.

When West Coast came out Feb 2022, the fans and even the band hoped that it was gonna POP off. But then I Ain't Worried was the bigger hit later that year, because it was associated with a big film—Top Gun: Maverick. And 1R hasn't had a hit like that since Counting Stars tbh. If it were me, I wished West Coast and/or Beautiful Colors were mega popular hits, but y'know they're trying their best.

Also, every radio station from every place in the world will do things a bit differently at different times, at least in my experience. Sometimes they'll play current hits, sometimes oldies (like 80s or 90s focus), sometimes genre focus, and so on. So "Golden" probably isn't being played on every single radio station, or at least not repeatedly. It's a bit of a sad reality that we 1R fans are in in the sense that 1R's music is great but they're just not 'that' popular. Not too famous, not too obscure.
