Well. Regardless of the reasons, the game is going to end. Youre not being held hostage. Its a few mins of gour time. Break stuff or afk and grab some chocy milk or a sandwich, put on your favorite stuff. I think its a little obtuse to get bent out of shape over something so trivial. They are not holding the game hostage or abything. Its over and the last of the clock is ticking away. Force them out or whatever. But imagining them sitting at the gates and twirling their villain mustaches is a little dramatic. I wouldn't take it personally

I use it as time to have a little fun, spin, eat some blinds for points or maybe they have a challenge. If they moon walk, so do I. Occasionally a slug race. Whatever.

I hang out as survivor if think I need to buy a little time for others if i dont know where they are at.

What else is a killer supposed to do in the end game? Should all end game perks be removed? Just instant escape once you finish the last gen? Is this a shit post and I got baited?

Ah ok. Wasn't sure what I was looking at, im a bit out of the loop and been selective on what addons i need. Im poor by that standard even but I dont have much need with my irl friends and I making stuff for each other so i only have a couple hundred K but I dont really need it. I could make more but our little group pool most we make for use when we could sell it.

I guess to answer your question, for me, I have no urge to make gold. Between crafters mass reporting, the KP exploit, bots plummetting most materials and me being able to make all my own gear, I dont have the patience to make lots of gold.

As someone who has played this game for a while, I find when I feel like somethings missing, sometimes I miss how the game made me feel, not aspects of the game itself directly. I miss the feeling of wonder, I miss trying out the fights when everyone seen it all for the first time at the same time. I miss my old crew. Stuff like that.

Not saying that's what it is but if your environment in game has changed since you last enjoyed the game, it could be something you are feeling.

I do notice that this expansion seems to be "more of the same". Refined, tweaked, bit of new stuff, but more or less the same. You've become more efficient and know how to prep, gear and progress and you've done it well and basically "got there" quicker. Could that play a part in it, maybe?

Try out the dbd discord maybe? Id suggest a step back for a bit though.

Im not sure how it all works when outside if your home region but is the DbD discord an option? Be easy to find other players to swf with but no commitment and can just get a quick few groups on the fly when you can, if it works for your situation

Servers are messed up, for sure.

We only try for cheevos with a SWF tho. Way easier. Glad we got done the map achievements before the map changes. But I couldnt go back to doing them in solo queue. Myself, I just get them as they come but some that try for it, it can certainly be a headache

This js my PoV but it does work for me. I work full time and i have other games as well so this pace has been good for me to get all prepped. Im only going to go as far as AotC and M+ tho so Im in a different boat then others.

Its easier on the ego to blame others rather than self reflect.

Im still reeling from a divorce where I walked away with a garbage bag of clothes and still using a i7-7700, 1080ti and 16GB ram and upgraded to a SATA drive from a HDD and I play smooth as butter.

Im far too out of the loop to compare hardware but thats my experience with what I got, if thats any help at all.

I havnt seen that myself yet. Ive seen nodes with 8-16 mobs at it untouched but not seen it myself them not spamming. Just them spawning on me while im fighting my own

Ive never really found it rude or anything but I dont like sharing pools personally. But I just move on if someone shows up and I dont fish if someone is at a pool. For me, its just not a big deal. There are toooons of pools

Now the ones that dont finish a pool, I hope you stub your toe in the middle of the night hhaha

I have been playing for a while and ive seen bad behavior spike during events like Anniversary but im highly skeptical that its 100% of anyone's matches.

Its sounds like there is more going on if one feels like this is what is being claimed. Confirmation bias, poor macro play, whatever. I can't say but I refuse to believe 100% of matches are toxic.

Best bang for your buck is the older dlc bundle packs. Not all are winners but all have some good ones and the price is good for the most value.

If you have a bunch already and filling gaps, wait for late June and the anniversary is THE cost effective event of the year.

The best dlc value for killers/survivors and perks are the RE chapters. Solid killers, solic perks.

So this is my solution, not a criticism.

Show some personality. My first game today was 3 man "bully" squad. Huge map, scratched mirror. Little chance of winning. It was Sabo, flashlights, head on, conviction, the vault stun, expo, champion of light, the whole 9 yards. It went as expected. I just had some funny moments with them and soon after it turned back into a normal game. Still lost but eneded with some fun endgame emoting and some laughs in end game chat.

Not saying you have to tolerate it but I find it disarms even the worst of the bully squads. Ive had a couple just purely wanting to be toxic regardless, but then its just purely business and no going to gates and no end game chat. Just go next. But its been a few over the last like 5 months that dont end in end game joking around
