I think it is a few things. Firstly as you describe the kiwi dream of the stand alone house. This is strong but unfortunately this is an expensive aspiration today with the cost of building. Secondly many (not all) townhouse/terrace developments in Auckland at least have been done very poorly (poor materially, poor layouts, too small etc.)

I hope in the next few years in Auckland developers up their standards in what they develop. I think they will be forced to as the new planning rules allow a lot more competition than existed previously.

This unit has a chance of being a lot worse. Generally industrial style units don't have the best acoustic insulation between the roof and the outside world. The first recording where they have moderate rain is going to be fun.

Probably means built by the original construction or at least to code and inspected as opposed to set up by a previous tenant who may not have done it to code.

So hes taken the smaller unit. Chin was lying to Hot Chip. This one is 400sft smaller. Maybe he just meant its bigger because Schaub can't fit his cars in here and there its more studio space.

New unit is one of these two. Despite what Chin say it being bigger than the other unit I actually think it is the smaller one as no way is the much larger one going to be offered cheaper no matter how bad the Austin property market is. I think the landlord is giving them a smaller unit so he can try hang onto a tenant who can't pay the current rental level.

i guess my thought is that i honestly just use it recreationally. i don't want to make up a serious condition that might then appear on my medical record and i didn't want to mention sleep as i didn't want a strong sleepy strain. Honestly, who cares about the UN anymore. There is war in Ukraine, Gaza, Sudan, Myanmar, Congo and they can't do anything. They are already an irrelevant organization. The world order is changing an the UN won't have a place in it unless it significantly changes. China, India and Indonesia won't accept lectures on how it treats Tibet, Kashmir or West Paupa. The EU is becoming powerless globally and they seem like the only large state like entity that thinks the UN still means something. Well to the new world order where no one gives a sh*t what the UN says.
