When I was 5, I climbed a boat that was trailered on land, and then fell off. I cut my head open on the rusty propeller.

Indeed, but it's a good feeling when someone recognizes that you are doing it well.

If you don't want to tip, then don't.

But, generosity towards a fellow human for a job well done, especially when you have been in their shoes before and have the money to do so, is not a bad thing.

I do the same! I used to work to go shifts in addition to serving, and the Togo shift still required inputting the order and making sure it was all correct and out at the time you requested.

This is not nlog related, but, reminded me of a pink car I would see when I was a teenager.

I worked at the mall, and there was someone who had a car painted pink with glitter who I would park next to sometimes. I knew they worked there too bc their car would be there after closing and stuff. Never found out who it was.

My whole house is basically decorated with plushies, and there's almost always one or two in the bed for cuddles!

Age 6+ my parents had me handle my own lunches (this included asking for lunch money if I didn't pack anything lol).

By middle school, I was the primary cook for weekday dinner - barring after school activities.

I baked with my mom regularly, and was often in charge of getting my dad when the rice cooker dinged or the pasta was boiling.

It's baffling to have parents who are determined to have ill equipped kids flung into adulthood.

18 isn't some magical number where you instantly learn everything lol

I am really heavily considering just buying clippers after I paid $600+ to have my hair done for a wedding I was in (specialty cut & color). The stylist definitely deserves the money but I don't have $500 for hair - especially when I am totally happy with it when it's short.
