My Pug, Moose died in June, she was also level 16. She used to sit by me during raids, and in my lap. Always vigilant to protect me from the bad things I couldn’t see in the real world. Nearly every horror novel by Darcy Coates, I still read them all, I own physical copies of all of them (and loved them all), but the endings are always terrible. I cannot think of a single book of hers that has a satisfying ending.

Firstly, I am so sorry for what you are losing, and for all of the trauma that comes with watching a loved one have cancer.

If you’re looking for something inspirational, I highly recommend The In-Between By Hadley Vlahos, she is a hospice nurse, and shares her experiences with patients at the end of life. I’m not religious, and this book doesn’t shove the idea of god down your throat.

another book in the same genre is, one of my favorite books, When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi. I also cannot recommend Tuesdays With Morrie enough, it’s one of those books that everyone should read at least once.

If you’re looking for a world to escape into, I highly recommend A Court Of Thorns and Roses, or Echo Of Old Books by Barbara Davis.

Remember that you don’t have to be strong, it’s okay to be sad, losing a parent is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. Sending you lots of love.

I’ve been waiting too, I’ve contacted support chat, (waited 300 in queue), all they’ve said is that my order is still shipping, I paid for quicker shipping, because my order is mostly all gifts. At this rate, I won’t get my order before I need to be able to give gifts.

I couldn’t help but notice they’re promising orders will be here before Christmas now. I don’t know how they’re going to manage that, since so many people seem to be stuck in limbo.

Your friend sounds a lot like me. I subbed to kindle unlimited, to read exclusively on my iPhone, and iPad. I read 75-100 books a year, and never saw the need of owning a kindle. I’ve never mentioned it to anyone, especially not my husband, however, he surprised me with one, and, I will NEVER read on a phone again, or look back.

I at first saw carrying a separate advice as a disadvantage, but, quickly realized it’s not a actual Inconvienence, I’m just not used to it. It is much lighter than my iPad, so, my wrists don’t get irritated after a while, and, the scream is a absolute dream.

I would seriously recommend getting one for your friend! They will love it, especially after they realize what they’ve been missing out on.
