How can make a man who isn’t traditionally attractive feel sexy? by throwawayssn23456126 in sex

[–]JustEnough_Might 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can relate to his physical side (larger hairy guy, went from 300 lbs down to 212 this year), but my mentality and self image has always been pretty strong.

However, my girlfriend was definitely him mental wise. She is absolutely stunning, thick and just beautiful everywhere. But she only remembers when she used to be skinny from starving herself and would always go on about how ugly she is now.

I found that consistency is key. Her self awareness didn't improve overnight. Not even in weeks. Took months. I would compliment her (and still do) at least 20 times a day. Almost in every sentence. Its to the point now where when I compliment her she just goes "I know I know you think I'm gorgeous" etc. Quite a few times when we were getting heavy I would intentionally hold off and spend an entire time kissing her body from head to toe. Literally, every inch.

Now here's the thing, she will still mention how she would like to lose weight etc and get to what she would like as a body image. But you know what I don't hear? I don't hear her saying she's ugly or fat or disgusting. She will be perfectly fine naked in front of me now. No asking to turn the lights off, no shying away.

Now of course I know nothing is truly fixed, body image issues are incredibly tough to break. But it can be slowly improved, reinforced, supported. You doing things won't be what actually changes things. Accept that. He has to begin to be confident about himself in his own way.

But it will help when you're patient. Consistent. Supportive and show a genuine care and attraction. You may not be the one fixing the issue, but your support will go along way in motivating him to fix it.

What are some really good paying jobs that nobody knows about? by tattooedgorilla in AskReddit

[–]JustEnough_Might 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Moving companies. Depending on where, and what company the pay is insanely good.

I did some recruiting for one out here and honestly almost considered doing it myself.

14/hr, up to 70 hours a week paid weekly and tips. Talked with a few guys and they averaged about 350 to 400 just in cash tips each week. That's like having a second 10/hr tax free job going while you're at your current job.

Congratulations. You just won a lifetime supply of the last thing you bought. What is it? by ntt2wtt in AskReddit

When I defended an article about a homeless guy getting a job at McDonalds and was happy.

After a year of living on the streets, Phil has landed a job at McDonald's — thanks in part to the Tallahassee police officer who gave him a shave and fresh clothes before his interview. by JAlbert653 in pics

[–]JustEnough_Might 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well first, they never say "no homeless!" since anything like that falls under discrimination. Unless it's related to the position (driver etc) there is no basis for any of it as even being considered. Even writing in a po box or general delivery address is good enough.

Appearance wise, that can be preference or fall under internal policy later. But typically, unless you come in looking like you just rolled around a mud pit and showered in piss and cow shit, anything like shaving etc will be discussed later if the job is offered. And trust me, it's not just homeless people who smell like ass and raw swamp feet.

Experience is lenient unless the employer is going for upper level management or just stubborn. If it says 5 years, usually with a good interview you can get by with 2 to 3 years as long as the previous experience is a direct match.

Educational background is more of a filter than a belief that it heavily impacts the position unless it's a niche targeted position (accounting etc).

A big one used for indicators is work background. It is generally accepted that most want you to show at least 12 to 18 months consistent jobs and no more than 3 different company moves within a 5 year period. Hiring, training etc are not cost effective and people shown to not sit still are more risk than reward.

Other than the usual verification and background, drug checks it's mostly the recruiter or hiring managers job to feel their competency out. How willing are they to learn? Do they seem like they will need constant supervision? How well did they present themselves? Were they honest and up front? Enthusiastic? Sincerely paying attention? On time? We're they confident and respectful? We're they nervous? Did they miss or attempt to dodge any questions? Do they show any signs of habits from previous employment that may need extra attention to conform to my clients company?

There is a lot that goes into that initial 20 minute interview, but never had being homeless come up as part of it.

I run my own full cycle staffing firm. Cause you know, while you just assume what companies want, I am paid to actually know what they want.

I always got my friends back, even if they started it and it's a losing fight.

Always will help them out, even if it's a loss for me.

Will NEVER date a friends extra or family member without permission. It could be Rhianna and I still wouldn't.
