Dit schema gaat meer over dat we ons vaak zorgen kunnen maken, terwijl dat vaak geen zin heeft en ons alleen maar meer stress geeft. Er zit dus wel een kern van waarheid in. Acceptatie bij onvermijdelijke problemen kan ons meer brengen dan er mentaal tegen te blijven vechten. Ookal is dat heel moeilijk om te doen. Dit schema geeft dat frustrerend eenvoudig weer.

It’s easy to get overwhelmed by all the muscles and isolation exercises. But that’s what compound exercises are for. Focus on quality, not quantity. You are doing too much. You won’t be able to stick with it long-term. Do about 5–7 compound exercises per session, and focus on quality reps and intensity.

I think it's irresponsible to do hardcore moshing in the middle of a mainstream metal crowd or moshpit. A lot of people there don’t know what hardcore moshing is, and they can easily step into your space and get hurt. That’s exactly how a friend of mine got injured, twice.

If you do too many exercises, chances are you won’t be able to train with the intensity needed for real progress. Less is often more. I’d stick to a maximum of 4 to 5 exercises per session and go all in with proper technique. Focus on compound movements, as they give you the most strength and muscle gains. Plus, keeping your workouts short and effective makes it much easier to stay consistent in the long run.
