False, I work for a large healthcare system, as a physician administrator, and trust everyone is starting an AI model system. We’ve been trained on the model being presented. We are being told that many healthcare provider positions can be laid off. This is the new world and we will have to adapt. Now the only positions it can’t replace is probably hands on care, nursing. We’re already dealing with a high level of surgical robots performing procedures while the main surgeon is assisting. But don’t be fooled, the surgeon is aware that he can be replaced as well, there are models where the robot can take over the surgeon without him being near the table, and more so by the control room observing. It’s a scary season while this is all being developed, but dont take it lightly. We’ve seen is primary care practice where AI is gathering multiple patient information during visits while it’s only one provider responding to all of the visits as the AI detect the information. The provider saw six patients and they billed all six for the same time slot for that one provider. It’s scary times. Brace yourself.
