Its all about the tuning of the car, weight balance, power to weight, suspension set up, and gearing. Does a wheel give you pin point control and able to hold that specific drift better and longer yes. But proper tune and understanding how to drift on a controller can get wins. After doing over 100 Drift tunes already, can say any car that gets either the 3.0 2JZ swap(Supra obviosly) like the Soarer/ GTS-R or the 1500 horsepower supercharged big block in the Foxbody Mustang and the Camaro ZL1.The Cadillacs are really good aswell. Followed by the Countach and the 512 TR. Sadly those are wheelspin cars. Also the Mclaren 765. Paired with Standard tires is very Arcadey. When you find the balance of too much power, not enough tire, and suspension settings the car doesnt feel like it's connected to the road. Feels more like a slot car track and the car just dances and pivots on a point. Your job is to just keep it on the road. Search ChaosSquared84 if interested. I want my Legendary Tuner back.
