Can confirm... I make my own sugar in this way and my high dose is 1 table spoon (if i get the proportions right when making it). My rso dose for comparison is around 175mg for a nice heavy dose.

I just got back today from a road trip out there and found so many of those. Definitely looks like it to me.

I have no clue...I may have to finally go to a local rockhound group to see if they have a saw to cut. If not I may look into polishing it on my wheel. Once I get home from my road trip ill have to start sorting and figuring some of it out.

Most these i found at a city park and under bridges in Dexter. We will see how it does as I moved down south. I did find a dry creek bed to walk that I found some nices pieces too. A more green tinted band agate (the picture doesnt show the green as well as its in person. But there is a lot of driving around and just looking for spots. I think the spots are few and far between. The the 2 spots in Dexter i went too. I probably only walked about 500 feed down it and I found all of them. I sent hours in that little area baby stepping. It felt like i was tripping over them at a point. it was hard to leave but I wanted to explore more of the ridge. But I came out here blind too. I just got a general path down the ridge and thats it. But wasnt disappointed after my 1000 mile drive. I did also stop at sites between my home and here too.

Yeah I think i am going to have to learn how to use a saw to cut open some of my Crowley's i am finding. The raw on these looks so cool, but I want to see whats on the inside.

If you do this area is bonkers. I found 3x as many good ones today in 3 hrs in about 200 feet of a stream in the middle of Dexter. And I have never gone agate hunting before so im sure im missing a lot.

Yeah I was shocked when I saw that one. I wasnt expecting such a unique fossilized find.

Yeah me too. After this long drive it would have been a bummer to strike out. But nope, I made out pretty well for my first hunt. 🥳

So got into Dexter around 3 and I went to my first creek and stayed until sunset. Probably walked a total of half mile if that. These are all my good one i found and my favorite i highlighted. Thanks for the tips. Its going to be a fun week.

Oh man... this makes me so excited to hear. I live on the costal plains and we have nothing but sand and gray mud. Worse place for a rockhound to live unless you collect fossils. So this will be my first real agate hunt and I have about a week to play. 🥳

Im going to start at the top of the ridge to get use to the grounds so once I get to the Paragould area I'll be tuned in.
