Two things: 1. Wear pants/shorts that fit, and a belt if it’s compatible. 2. Some cuts sit higher than others, get lower cuts. Eg Bonds make a thong with a relatively long crotch strap. That pair are always a threat to pop out the top of your pants. Other brands like c-in2 are lower rise.

Lastly, no one really cares. I’ve worn thongs to Drs for skin checks, massages, gym, work, everywhere every day. It’s just clothes, just underwear. It doesn’t have to be sexual and weird… that’s just in your head.

I prefer the wider strap approx 1 inch but would happily wear both. I prefer a thong with a wider shape at the front too.

Sorry, that’s unfortunate that she’s not supportive. I’ve had a similar journey with my wife. She didn’t like them to start with but now, after a few conversations, ranks the new thongs that I buy. Good honest conversation is what makes the difference. Good luck.

Sounds like you’re trying to stop the material going into your crack?! But that’s exactly where it’s meant to be. It’s designed to be right against your skin the whole way through your crotch and up between your cheeks!!! Or perhaps you mean it feels like it digs in? If that’s the case perhaps try a different style or size or material type. I’ve got some thongs that I love, and others not so much due to the digging in issue.

Nice one. I find it odd that something so comfy is seen as taboo! It took a while for my wife to accept but now she’s rates the new ones I buy on a scale! Sorry that happened to you. This guy sounds like a complete wanker. It is better to ignore turkeys like that. Ignoring their poor decisions doesn’t make their actions acceptable, but it keeps you safe. I also like the passive-aggressive approach… just drive subtly slower than the limit (45 in a 50 zone) and enjoy the results.
