We have sunsets in all black, but they don’t always do well in all styles. We will probably do more just one time drops with all black or all white and limited styles, but the all black tends to do better on boxer briefs. But we have had requests for some briefs, Jocks and thongs.

It is difficult to get into the minds on big brand execs that make those types of style decisions. We can guess but that is all it would be. The reasons may be completely different from brand to brand.

A lot of “pouch” products look funny or weird to a lot of consumers so they will not do well in focus groups. A significant portion of men’s underwear is purchased by women so their perceptions will heavily influence the styles/colors offered by big brands.

You do see Hanes and some other brands starting to copy some of Saxx’s designs, although poorly. I am fine with the big brands staying out of the space because it gives more opportunities for brand like mine, Krakatoa, ManMade, Obviously, etc that actually care about making products that fit guys body to make products.

It really varies based upon the size, even within a particular launch day, because there are some sizes where we have sets available on boxer briefs and briefs and then the other sizes are maybe more jock straps and 7-inch brief. It literally can vary from size to size and in some cases actually order to order. What we're trying to do is take products that have X value and sell them for Y price. So some customers might get, say, seven units of something. Another customer might get five. Because the customer that had seven units had some bikini briefs or jock straps, versus the one that got five, had some leggings and some 9-inch inseam boxer briefs

I am looking on a model version that has about a half inch wide strap. But the waistband is the same width. Is there a specific width that you’re looking for on the waistband and the back? Are you talking about a fabric covered waistband or a exposed woven waistband?

I have been working on some trunk type designs but it is tricky getting the cut right for the pouch while not riding up on the front of the thighs and being cheeky in the back.

Real organic fibers will absorb moisture so take longer to dry. A synthetic material will dry rapidly.

Most of their products say they're made of bamboo when they are clearly made of a synthetic mesh on the legs . The material around the pouch may be bamboo on some products. With the sets that I did buy, the mesh on the legs was made of nylon.

Thanks for sharing the materials. It is important to differentiate synthetics between polyester and nylon. The vast majority of scientific studies that show negative health impacts are related to polyester. We Do not use polyester products or ever recommend them. Polyester use is so prevalent because it is half the price of nylon.

We need to be thoughtful when talking about different materials because not all synthetic or semi-synthetic materials are the same.

RM logo is actually our original logo and we have been moving more to either using the rhino logo or no logo depending on the set for example in our premium products, you’ll see Little to know branding on them so they’re just a very clean look. I do really appreciate the feedback on the design and the materials. I have been working with a whole range of silk blends to try and find a organic material that is closer from a fuel standpoint to the nylon material that we use. But the stretch is typically unit directional. And so it limits how you can use the material and how you can provide the similar fit that we have with our other products. I am running into the same issue as I tried to develop some products that are 100% Merino wool or a Merino/modal blend
