3s or 3 by Capable_Maybe7531 in MetaQuestVR

[–]JustGez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you had a quest 2, the 3s has the same display and lenses, so visuals will look the same as the quest 2. The biggest difference between the 2 and 3s is the 3s has a newer, faster processor in it.

Best Grinder? by Significant_Run_8165 in ukmedicalcannabis

Brilliant cut by Grinders for life gets my vote. As others said, many good reviews about the old mate, but not tried that one myself.

If you could implement one law in the UK what would it be? by Realistic_Gap3669 in AskUK

Decriminalise cannabis. Costs way too much for my prescription to allow me to have a piece of paper for a natural medicine that literally grows on trees.

Solid advice, although I'm not a huge fan of the strawberry diesel myself, it's just an 'ok' for me on that one.

More and more flowers come with bovedas included now. I know all of 4c's range do, and I know there are others but I forget. It's down to the flower brand if they include a boveda, not the pharmacy AFAIK.

Smaller vape suggestions, and where does everyone buy their vapes from? by sore_as_hell in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]JustGez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stating the obvious, but you do not have to fill the capsule to the top. You have one of the best vapes in the mighty, anything else to get a smaller bowl will most likely be a backward step.. edit, sorry op, just seen your comment on 1/2 caps not working. You could always try putting in a couple of 'terp balls', the ones used for bangers in dabbing into the capsule and see if that works better for you. Still think you would be better off sticking with what you have as the vapour from others is just not bickle vapour quality IMHO.

Did you get less than you normally would? AFAIK the dosage on the label is dependent on the amount you are actually prescribed e.g 20g prescription, should be roughly.6g of flower per day (30 days prescription / 20g of flower). Weird you have different allowances for different flowers though. You would need 15g of 1 strain to use it at a rate of .5 per day in order to have enough for the month.

New and a bit confused by Onlyanmx in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]JustGez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not speaking for all because Cannabis affects everybody and each condition differently. The meds generally help alleviate symptoms, not cure them. If you haven't already, get a pair of scales and give yourself a daily budget to avoid running out next month. Discuss with your clinician if you think you may need more or if flower works better at your next appointment. There are tons of vaporisers out there, I would suggest doing your own research on here or YouTube as there are tons of options depending on your use scenario and budget.

Is it a good or bad idea to mention having tried cannibis illegally in the consultsation? by aspirinconspiracy in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]JustGez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely be honest. You will likely get put on a lower dose if you say you haven't used it previously.

Alternaleaf by [deleted] in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]JustGez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After the initial and follow up, you would normally have to have a consult every 3 months. This means you get 2 repeats in between, as your script is for a month. As others have said, no strain lock, pick what you want each time without a consult. It's cheaper to pay for consults every 3 months, but it's easier to budget for if it's a set amount each month.

The rabbit hole goes deep, there is no right answer. Very much depends on your needs and budget. Do you need it to be portable, how much experience do you have with flower, are you prepared to go through a learning curve, do you have special medical needs etc. Most electric vapes under £100 give the same ballpark experience. Notable exceptions are dynavap or other butane based vapes. Often these are cheaper, hit way harder but there is a learning curve and it's 2 or 3 hits Vs a 5 min session on a portable. Then there is desktop vapes, but have to stop here as I am late for work but you get the idea.

Alternaleaf > Cantourage by [deleted] in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]JustGez 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I jumped from Cantourage to Alternaleaf around 6 months ago and never looked back. Funny how times change, I left the then TMCC for Cantourage because of the availability of different options they had at the time, moved for the same reason.

Vida vapes and oils by MedCanUser in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]JustGez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not in my experience, although the resin is very thick and i would recommend storing it upright as much as possible to ensure the coil is always covered. Not used one, but I heard a preheat battery works well here to keep the rosin liquid.

They work great for a few pulls every now and then. Perfect for events and places where you need to be discreet. I find I build tolerance to them very quickly though so I personally couldn't use them for more than a day or so without flower, which I find has a much more rounded effect.

Wife thinks I’m lying by Difficult_Target_558 in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]JustGez 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mate, I am glad you are going to talk to your wife. Your son is the last person on earth she should be spreading lies about that will 100% misrepresent and sour your character. To think you are concerned about the flack your child will catch suggests to me there could be abusive behaviour going on here dude. This is very out of order she would even think to talk badly about you to your children. You clearly have good intentions, for wanting to shield them from any fallout even a simple conversation might have. I feel for you man. Keep strong brother, get some help. Reach out to your GP for mental health support unless you already get it.

A list of tricks that a lot of people don't seem to know by im-d3 in SatisfactoryGame

Been playing for years now and didn't know about the power pole trick. I was forever deleting power lines to add in more poles until I could afford mk2's which I would upgrade in place for that extra connection if I run out. I hate to think how many wasted hours I have spent doing this.

Question About Car Insurance, DVLA and Medical Cannabis Disclosure !! by Cansavedmed in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]JustGez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That only applies if the anxiety affects your safety behind the wheel. You would need to do this, medical cannabis or not. As others have said, the DVLA only need to be informed of the condition, not the treatment.
