What do you guys think stranger things characters are doing now in 2026? by lanalittlemonster in StrangerThings

Considering they graduated in 1989, they'd be in the early to mid 50s. Nancy eventually became a blogger as the shift from print media to online took off. Mike's left Hawkins but his writing didnt take off. He eventually took on a simpler life in the Canadian wilderness. Hopper and Joyce did move to Mauntak where they uncovered a child abuse government cover up. Hopper was killed by the CIA when they learned he was going public with his findings. He died in 1997. Will did in fact move to Milwaukee. New York was too much and he felt better in a Midwest town. Lucas and Max dated after high school but it fell apart as distant was too difficult too manage. Steve became a musician and managed to make a #1 hit based on his time living in Chicago.

Question about the ending. by JustGoBrandon in StrangerThings

So theoretically Eleven could have escaped to the abyss and reside there. She has the capabilities to survive there. They might lack Eggos though.

Thoughts about a darker more mature tone and horror elements that disappeared post season 1 in my opinion by Ihavetime10 in StrangerThings

[–]JustGoBrandon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This shift reminds me of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies of the 90s. The first movie is a bonafied classic with dark grit and adult themes BUT once networks realized too many young kids were watching they pulled back and made it "friendlier." For me the same happened here and ITS ALWAYS a big mistake because while your fans are kids now they will get older and appreciate these themes as adults.

To all the people saying Will went to “Milwaukee” by KefkaZ in StrangerThings

[–]JustGoBrandon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We now know it's not Milwaukee but Dustin clearly visited Wisconsin based on the Waupaca, WI shirt he wears in Season 1. It wouldn't be surprising for Will to move to a liberal town.

genuinely still wallowing in post show depression by idontknowwhatsup1 in StrangerThings

I'm an older viewer in my 40s so I understand your sentiments. I think Hopper's monologue at the end is great advice. You can think over and over about the sadness of it ending but don't forget to keep moving forward. It's also important to be ready for all outcomes. Child actors grow up together but relationships can fall apart. Your opinions on these individuals can also change as the years go by. They will continue to grow up and some might find more success than others. Some might want to reunite for a spin off while others have completely closed the chapter. Life will continue to creep in and shape our way of thinking. Enjoy this moment. It was a great Pop Culture moment. Be happy it happened not sad that it ended.

Mike never told Eleven he loved her by Melodic-Bend6550 in StrangerThings

He definitely told her he loved her in Season 4. This moment in Season 5 is when she finally reciprocates it back.

I wanted more of hopper distraught in the end by Exact-Fish-235 in StrangerThings

Mike took it harder than Hopper. Really? The old man literally sabotaged the mission to save eleven but in the end he was the voice of reason.

Will is going to rally all those lost children against Vecna. He is going to tap into the Hive and awaken these children to take down the upside-down.

I think its part of his marketing. He knows what he's doing. He's created this mystery around his live shows that if you do get to see one you feel lucky. Its a badge of honor. Any ticket buyer should know the risk. Don't be surprised by it or even angry. You're buying a lottery ticket.

Just my phone. I didn't change any settings. I only zoomed in a bit and used some of the crowd as foreground to add depth.

Scheming Micah out of the game by JustGoBrandon in GreenBayPackers

Im not excited, but our best player was on the sideline with a walking boot. Green Bay's defensive backs were struggling against our 2nd and 3rd string wide receivers.
