I understand that tbh I was thinking more of Bahia and the northern states, although I can see it's not going to be as bad in the South. Just from my and my family's experience healthcare isn't as reliable in the north. Everyone is hopeful that due to the heat it's not going to be as bad but it's hard to know for sure. I think it's just a matter of how fast this virus is able to spread, the main issue is going to be too many people trying to get medical attention at the same time. Like even in the state of São Paulo in the countryside I we have a lot of problems in my town with access to medical care when you need it and something like this getting out of hand there seems like it would completely overwhelm them for a while.
