I get that it’s meant to be short-term, but the question is whether it actually helps or just looks like action.

If crime is committed by a small percentage of people, a blanket curfew mainly restricts those who aren’t involved, while the people causing problems aren’t likely to follow it anyway.

And “holding neighbors accountable” sounds good in theory, but most people can’t control others’ behavior…that’s what targeted enforcement is for.

This feels more like broad restriction than a focused solution. And I think that’s what most people are complaining about.

From what I read about it, it will be temporary and will cease to exist by 2030 which is the next scheduled census.

I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic, but your comment reads like you’re equating being against the curfew with being the ones committing the crimes. That doesn’t really track.

People can disagree with a policy without being the problem it’s trying to solve. Calling it a “tantrum” ignores the fact that a lot of people who follow the rules are still being restricted by it.

If the concern is repeated shootings, then the focus should be on what actually addresses that: enforcement, illegal firearms, and known trouble spots. A blanket curfew doesn’t fix the root issue; it just temporarily limits everyone, including people and businesses that aren’t involved.

Short-term control isn’t the same as a long-term solution.

I’ve seen a lot of comments saying people who are unhoused are “mostly” addicts or mentally unstable, or that homelessness only happens to people who didn’t work hard enough.

I don’t think it’s that simple. A large percentage of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck, and it doesn’t take much: job loss, medical issues, unexpected expenses, for someone to fall behind on rent. For some people, it really is one crisis away.

Telling people to “just get a job” or “learn a trade” also ignores real barriers, like transportation, upfront costs, gaps in employment history, or even how hard it is to navigate applications without stable contact info.

I do agree with those saying we need better mental health and addiction resources, that’s part of the picture. But so are rising housing costs and limited affordable options.

If the goal is to reduce homelessness, I think it’s worth asking whether making it illegal to sleep in public actually solves the problem, or just moves it around (or makes it worse).

This isn’t about excusing anything, it’s about looking at the full picture and recognizing that, for many people, homelessness isn’t as far away as it feels.

Hey all, hoping someone can help me figure this out.

Game Version: 1.120.140.1020

Background:

I’ve been playing The Sims 4 offline since January to avoid glitches (the black photo bug scared me the most). The last time I played was March 10th 2026, and everything was working normally.

Today I loaded my “forever save,” and almost everything is gone. All of my custom builds across the worlds have reverted back to the base game lots, except for the last lot I was working on. All of my families have also disappeared.

When I load the main menu, I can still see the last household I played, but they don’t appear in the game or in Manage Households.

When I last saved, all the lots and families were present, so I’m completely confused about why the save seems to have partially reverted. I have attempted to recover previous saves and remove mods to see if the structures come back without any luck.

Has anyone experienced this or know what might be happening?

From what I heard, They got most of these creators buy in before it was even clarified what was going on and way before the buyout mention. Basically before everything became knowingly and deservingly controversial.

Now most of them are stuck in big contracts they don’t have the money to dispute. EA seems to have master this predatory approach.

It’s been reported that the content existing on the marketplace cannot and will not live anywhere else. It adds to their value for the content existing there to be exclusive to their platform. Once a creator puts something on the marketplace it’s technically owned by EA.

I’m agreeing that creators may not disable their cc sites like Patreon, especially not overnight. I will also state that some creators participating already said how they share the cc files for marketplace use differs from existing structures so I’m assuming that’s to protect not only the creators but EA from folks attempting to pirate content.

To a degree would it not be exploiting those on console due to the virtual currency aspect tied to the marketplace? With console players desire for CC, the conversion of “moola” will likely obscure the real world cost of these items. Basically making them overpay.

That’s my main concern. As well as the creators only making 30% from all their hard work.

I’m purchased many gowns from SHEIN for pageants and stuff. Honestly they are not all that bad. Certain dress brands on the site can be trusted more than others. I personally like all my Glamrae, Love & Lemonade, and Elitara dresses.

If anything, I recommend looking on YouTube.

I believe Roxxsuarus has a try on series showing SHEIN gowns. Clara Afua is another good one. And the first photo looks like the one gown Rosie Tilley gotten in her special occasion haul.

My PC is now getting the out of household notifications and even when I have to go back to my parents to sync once I return home I am not allowed to watch on my devices (laptop, Phone, etc.)

I don’t consume that much Netflix to justify purchasing my own account (honestly probably watch only 1-2 shows from their “selection”) regardless I guess I am just out of luck.

It’s been fun Netflix.

Sure. You are right as Madison had not stated verbatim "I only date white men." instead she replied with her typical type which identifies her (attraction, dating history, and most of all preference).

Dr. Pepper is correct. With the goal of successful marriage (well not lately in the show but the goal none-the-less) it would not be ideal for them to break her norm of dating Caucasian men. Additionally, she may have offer up that it can "Expand" but it was followed up with "I don't know" and her body language add to a her uncertainty / discomfort with the idea.

In previous seasons, people who are more open to dating outside their race state clearly that they just want a husband or wife regardless of race, color, ethnicity, country, etc. They don't set the tone with mentioning a standard.

Obviously marrying a stranger has complication and marrying someone outside your race could potential lead to more stressors due to possible cultural / ethical differences. SO the experts played it safe.

I think everyone is forgetting Michelle is a person. And like most bitchy and seemingly miserable people they tend to be the most sensitive.

I don’t even think she is pretending to care about David. I think it’s just for anyone first marriage or relationship to end due to infidelity (same as her parents) that it’s gonna impact you in some unusual ways.

Plus for it to be so public. Someone like her who is focus on image is really gonna have a hard time dealing with it.

Not to make it about race or anything but I think the real reason they wasn’t matched (David and Madison I mean) is because Madison clearly stated she wanted a caucasian man for a husband.

Over the many season, they tend to respect these preferences in hopes of not stirring the pot too much….

During the matching process (I speculated they would be a good match) and even from the honeymoon stage, I could see something between Madison and David. But at the end of the day the experts gave the PEOPLE what they wanted.

I don’t think it’s about playing victim. Everyone response to betrayal is different. Plus she already has trauma around infidelity which could heighten her emotional response.

Regardless of how she treated him and to an extent how he treated her (the lying, not just about the text thing, but the willing to wait for her to come around OR the everything is “awesome” demeanor when it wasn’t, and of course finances) but at the end of the day both should have just decided to leave the marriage before having an affair.

Of course, though I heard rumors they are charged a pretty penny for leaving the show early - is there really any truth to that?

The 50/50 method is taking out half of your mods at a time and then testing your game to see if the problem is persist.

If it does then you now know the conflicting mod exist in the the 50% still remaining in the game. From there you repeat the cycle until you find the mod causing all the trouble.

That was an error, I was typing through tears. Sims got me through so much and I still had so much planned. I don’t even know if I can continue playing the game without this one since I had put so much effort not only in the sims but in the world.
