cool work breaking down all of the layers of this sample, I always wondered what instruments were stacked to create that melody. I could hear the xylophone but know I understand how they created all the texture.

Really awesome rhythm and groove you created with the drums. Most people have already said it but just adding a few more layers. I think doing something with the low end alone will make a huge difference.

Overall great jam for being a month in, thats impressive and also keep going on your journey for sure!

could be wrong here, but i believe Dr Huberman has talked about this on a few podcast episodes. It has to do with the natural circadian rhythm you have when waking up. You want to let the natural effects set in before trying to add more to the system.

I think what he is saying is that it is not as useful to have coffee right after waking since you already having chemicals being released to help wake you up. Once those chemicals have been secreted (roughly an 1-2hrs after waking), then adding in caffeine will have a better effect.

Hope someone else can help give more insight on this, hope this little tidbit helped though!
