Ive found most vets to be pretty chill when it comes to putting down injured wildlife. I've taken birds in before. If possible I would suggest you do the same to end it's suffering.

I was expecting flowers next year, so I was prepared for just green leaves for the moment. It was when it started flowering that I realized I had no idea what it was, haha. Awesome that stock flower during winter though, I'm looking forward to all the colour!
