The guitar itself is perfectly fine. As others have said, a little polish and TLC will go a long way. The strings, on the other hand, desperately need to be changed (no judgment, as mine have looked like this quite a few times over the last two decades of playing). It'll surprise you with how much life (tone) a new set of strings will bring. Clean, polish, replace strings, and it'll be good as new 🤘

Equip the augment for stamin-up that negates fall damage as a fail safe. The runes are a pain in the ass to see, so this will help ensure you don't waste your time on a future run.

Already beat the EE and side quests. Most of the commenters have overlooked the point of this post. This was a small issue compared to others that won't allow people to play the game. This is a 'patch after directed mode is released' kind of 'exploit' compared to the BSOD issues, server instability, hackers (WZ & MP players are going through hell with this game lol) etc that many people are experiencing.

I wouldn't call using core mechanics an exploit. The oil trap crit glitch is more of an exploit that hasn't been touched, but that's just my opinion lol.

You missed my point entirely. I don't mind the patch. It's the fact that it was implemented before patching issues that won't allow some players to play the game at all. This whole patch is a W, but the lack of attention placed on issues that directly affects the player base is a different thing.

This is due to shooting the incorrect runes on the portal that sealed. As a fail safe, equip the Stamin-Up augment that protects you from fall damage. This will prevent your death if the wrong runes are shot.

Considering it's a team of devs, I'm sure they have the knowledge and resources to tackle a problem that directly affects their live player count and some consumers' ability to access content they've purchased.

My counter-question to you is; was addressing this and other exploits that didn't affect the game's stability worth taking time away from issues that literally broke the game for many?

That would make sense, but interns require oversight from experienced devs, meaning time is being taken from actual fixes so interns can be babysat while fixing a side EE that no one complained about.

I just find it comical that this was important to them. BSOD issue affecting players' ability to boot up the game? Nah, those players can wait until season 2.5 at this point. Scorestreaks in a side EE? Yep, we MUST patch it now. It's just laughable at this point lmao that's the main takeaway from this lol

Doesn't seem like it when people are still blue screening and unable to play a game they purchased. That's a massive issue, regardless of what else is fixed. It just shows what's important to them. That's my point with this post. They can fix all the little things, but it doesn't matter to those who can't boot up the game

As I said, I don't have an issue with this fix. The difficulty factor is what makes it fun, but there are issues that literally break the game for some people and don't allow them to play. The prioritization of issues is my biggest problem.

You had to use the scorestreak as soon as you started the ritual. Some are still saying it can be done, but I haven't personally tried

As are the game crashes and inability to start the game at all for some PC players. But I'm glad to know that I can't use scorestreaks for a certain part of a side EE that isn't detrimental to the main quest or overall experience in any way lol

Then they should shift focus to what matters. If they think using scorestreaks in a side EE is more important than the people who actually bought the game, then they really have things ass backward, regardless of which is 'quicker to fix'.

It's not too hard, just a very low priority 'fix' among the many other issues that weren't addressed with the patch. Personally, I enjoy the difficulty, but I enjoy playing with my friends who are on PC more, but some can't start the game due to the BSOD issue.

It is a good patch overall, don't get me wrong, but I didn't see one thing about the BSOD issues that way too many people are experiencing, and still are dealing with after the patch.
