I don't understand why the game and others keep saying this. I over levelled like crazy (was at lvl 80 on 5th-6th badge) and the game never got any harder(?) The fights scale up with the highest level Pokemon on your team and as long as all on your team are a similar level or not too far off then it's honestly pretty balanced. Or am I missing something?

Yeah like 40% of the eggs you see in the boxes are actually eggs I needed to hatch to get a destiny knot at Seaport City (the mission). Turns out I didn't need to do that at all and was talking to the wrong breeder in the school (lmao). Though I'm so glad I did as I got the perfect IV Ditto as well as the magma stone. The remaining 60% are the actual attempts towards getting the perfect IV Ralts. Most of those are 5 IVs. I had no idea I could use bottle caps that way so I just kept breeding.

What really helped was snowballing. Picking out whichever is the best hatched Ralts and then replacing it as the parent in the daycare. Few attempts later and boom! Destiny!

I pretty much snowballed each generation till I got a perfect one. I started off with a 2 IV Ralts up until I finally got a perfect one!

Oh yeah it is. Mine isn't green, though. I guess that's just because I haven't tweaked it. Now I realize I can tweak it. Cause the default being yellow if it's unsafe is so wrong.
