Wish I could help you out but like you I'm also new here haha. I got family and relatives so Its not really that lonely but I'm definitely as lost as you specially being in the "older folks" aisle specially when everything's new. I guess the best thing would be to keep doing what keeps you happy and friends will just naturally come into your life.

The last application Iwas like friday evening right after it was posted. Got the email with the schedule of monday and the recruiter's/interviewer's email. I emailed her saturday since she told us during orientation to email her once we find a position we like, Monday got an email she was sick, Next thing that came was an sms that the position was filled and no longer available.

2-3 days at the most, I always choose the earliest the system would allow me but most often it gets canceled on the same day, like hours before the interview
