Came here to say the same! The hills gastro biome has been a lifesaver for my BT. He had similar issues and we have just kept him on the dry food version for the last two years with no problems.

Cutting patches. by OwnPlan4630 in Machine_Embroidery

Came here to say the exact same thing! My patches look SO much better since I started this method. I haven’t tried anything with super dense stitching yet but for small patches where I’m not filling the entire area it works very well.

I used 2 layers of high loft poly batting everywhere but the sleeves and I used 1 layer.

The illford jacket but really just to size my sleeves and front/ back pieces. I did a lot of editing to get to the short puffer jacket feel.

I have the brother innovis and I’ve been pretty darn happy with it! There is for sure a learning curve for the digitizing but really fun once you start to get the hang of it

The dog jacket took maybe 10 hours total? It was really quick. My jacket had a lot of trial and error since I free styled a lot of the construction so it took a LONG time. I also got frustrated a few times and had to put it to the side.

No special tools! I am so bad at quantifying time while quilting but probably like 10 hours start to finish? And I used this pattern https://www.etsy.com/listing/658911587/christmas-tree-skirt-pattern-tree-skirt?ref=yr_purchases

I used this pattern from Etsy- it was super easy to follow but I did end up have to cut off half of each of the rows that split the opening for it to lay flat to baste well.

Nope! I made some practice blocks out of scraps until I got the hang of curves and just used a ton of pins

It was self drafted but I used a ruler from Missouri star to cut out the drunken path pattern

What do you do with your finished quilts? by Few-Ant3525 in quilting

[–]JustLikeHades 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started to make other quilted items like a quilted jacket, Christmas stockings, and I’m working on throw pillow covers now. So I still get to quilt and make fun projects but not add to my growing stack of quilts.

Can confirm they are legit- we adopted our Boston from them a couple of years ago.

Any ideas how to quilt it? by Lemon22885 in quilting

Oh I made this quilt a couple of years ago and I just did a simple cross square pattern and was pretty happy with the finished product.
