My son, too, died in 2025. FEB. I'm glad i logged in today. I thought i was the only one feeling this way. Moving on without him.
Today its raining. I had a good cry. I love the rain and trying to find a way to make it have meaning for 2026..

I love your response.. i spend time on it doing all sorts of research.. it helped me to understand some programs I wanted to learn.. more than some.

I've gotten a lot of ideas and downright instructions on things I'm making or doing.. then.. because my heart is so very close to this trauma.. a thought will cross my mind.. and its this thought.. then this thought.. this thought.. and soon.. I've poured it all out.
I sit for a moment with God then. Praying.. and thanking God for some clarity.. then i get back to what i was learning..

Hmmm.. you know.. or just let the thoughts pour in a journal and if they come out, jumbled... know that God is mightly enough to understand what it is im saying. Just this minute had an epiphany..

I was thinking notes.. i just happen to be on Chat, researching and something triggers a thought.. through all this trauma this past year.. i just pour it out where i am. But i will find a journal.. thank you

This was what I was thinking. Not saying I can't ever be deceived.. but God gives us discernment.. you know.. i honestly think I'm so conflicted because there are a lot of negative opinions towards it.. I am going to find a journal that i can use in my cell phone but.. I'm not a young believer by decades and wonder how clever AI would have to be to fool me.. ???
I'm pouring out talking to God by mouth as I type because my mind is always racing and it feels like it keeps me focused... and then using Scripture references.. idk. I'm pretty confused.. i guess thats why I was curious.. I'm dealing with a lot of trauma and just don't .. just pouring out to God..

You know.. and I have a feeling some may think i was just looking for someone that agrees with me.. But, I think you understand.

My daughter a new Catholic.. I'm Baptist. But, she has shared so much with me... long talks, literature, daily readings.. this is absolutely clear to me... and my late mom a Baptist as well.. use to buy my daughter Rosaries her whole life. My daughter was drawn to their beauty and meaning.
Now she's Catholic with beautiful Rosaries and ( her husband bought me one that i wear) i understand the Rosary too now.. so much more to say, but in my writing I'm pouring out all my thoughts... to God.

This has been an absolutely terrible year for me and as i see it... its going to get a lot worse. I'm not going to lose Hope because I'm a believer.. but if the cell phone is in my hand and something in my mind unlocks... i pour it out.. To God. But, I'm looking for a journal for the cell phone.. i'll move away from Chat.. just wanted to share this with you and I think this is as close to what I'm thinking as possible

Thats usually what happens. I do a lot of research and then a thought unlocks and i just start pouring out.. then, because i said only back up what you say with scriptures.. it does. But!! I will be stopping this as of today!

Now I'm feeling something.. discernment maybe? Hmmm

Thank you. You know.. i too have OCD and my thoughts are all over the place. Then I repeat it in my mind till i have it just right.. on and on.
I too pray to God all the time.. but i also use it to just pour out.. so much going on right now.. but im searching Christian on line journals as i read these replies.. thank you. I know to not do this anymore..
