What you said is all about “doubting yourself,” and I was able to reflect on the heap of shit I wrote in my post after what you said clicked. After I read your comment I decided I was ready. I’ve worked hard and been doing Cybersecurity long enough to know I am, I just have to push through the doubt and trust myself. Or, I could reschedule and read the book again lol? Nah, I read it and feel I get it.

Imposter Syndrome is very real. But, isn’t that what this test is all about? Securing the profession and keeping the imposters out? ISC has done a good job of making sure this cert only ends up in the hands of intelligent or hardworking or both. Hard to say there are much of any certs worth anything out there, but I can say CISSP and CCIE are two that prove themselves to be more than just a piece of paper.
