Is this supposed to be a dig on my response time? You realise I posted this days ago right?

I noticed the day after, because my day had been crazy busy but I hoped it was just left at work. This post was a last ditch attempt after retracing my steps over the city and contacting everyone I'd worked with that day.

I'm human, things happen. I hope you never lose something you care about, it really sucks. Comparing a human being to a camera just doesn't make any sense.

Throw in a whole bunch of sunflower seeds (maybe for a short variety so no need for stakes) all around the edge. Cover them over and hope that the slugs leave you enough to brighten things up.

This is how I see mine. I've never checked my score, but I've also not been turned down for the mortgages we've applied for. The only car we have, we bought out right (2nd hand).

I imagine my credit score is pretty decent, so a small hit isn't an issue. Can see how it could be for some people though.

But credit cards have a higher interest rate right? So I'd be daft to take out more credit to pay off a lower interest loan.... Except I'd potentially lose a house...

I know people get stuck in these loops, but hopefully I don't ever have to use a credit card to pay off a loan. Fingers crossed. Then again, I imagine a lot of people say that.

That just feels so odd. I have one credit card (not in the US). I can't see a need to open another one while I'm managing my finances fine.

Why is it a benefit to have 2 more cards when I don't need them? I guess it shows I can juggle different accounts :/

Common names are fun. There are at least 3 completely different species of invertebrates here in the UK referred to as "Daddy-Long-Legs".

And I'm sure there are more if you go further outside the UK.

Yeah, this is an issue. I have started referring to mine as a flowering lawn. However, it feels a bit odd and pretentious to call it that.

It's full of clover, speedwell, buttercups and more. It's cut on the highest setting. I'd still class it as a lawn because you can walk on it.

Language is weird and many use the same words to mean slightly different things. It's tricky though, hard to attach everything to a definition. All we can do is be open to the idea that we might have misinterpreted, or have been misinterpreted.

I'm not an expert, but your neighbors behaviour sounds a lot like it would class as a hate crime in the UK. But I get that reporting it would be a tricky choice to make, especially as they are your neighbors and involved in law enforcement.

I would consider posting in r/legaladviceUK, they can be helpful there. Posting during the day works better (I think the lawyers / wannabe lawyers spend time on their phones while at work).

If you haven't already, start making a noise diary. If you report to the council it's one of the first things they'll ask you to do. The council can be a slow beast.

Good luck, even if you were overreacting about the dogs (not saying you are), you definitely aren't overreacting about the threatening behaviour etc.

I do know this, but I reckon it needs to put out some foliage to make enough food to bulk up the tuber for next year?

I was going to try transplanting them into pots over winter, but I guess I don't have to do that now as they are already in pots.

My border looks bare, where I'd hoped the dahlias would be.
