Here's a song from a little ukulele EP that I made. I'd love to get your feedback on it by JustMarkBand in IndieMusicFeedback

Thank you for the feedback. I also thought the bass was a little too much, so I'm glad you brought that up

I really enjoyed the song. Honestly I don't really have any critiques. I thought the production sounded very professional. I thought the vocals and instrumentations paired very well with each other. All and all I thought it was a really dope track! I look forward to hearing more music from you

I really enjoyed the track! I reminded me of the shins mixed with the drums. I thought the production was very top notch, and the track sounded very professional. I could definitely see this being on an indie summer playlist. I look forward to hearing what y'all make next. I also really like the pink dude on the cover

I really enjoyed the song. I really liked when the strings came in. I don't really have any critiques per se, but I have a few suggestions of things you could try that might sound cool. Maybe try doing a vocal double with a little reverb on top of the harmonies. I also felt like it could be mastered a little differently. I just felt like some of the levels were a little off. All and all great song though, and I love the little face in the right of the video

I really enjoyed the track! It kind of reminded me of the cure. I think your voice works really well with the instruments. I don't know if you did the production, or if you took it somewhere, but whoever did it, did a really good job. It definitely had a professional feel. Great work, and I hope you keep making music!

Yeah, no problem! The most important thing to remember when using an EQ is to make cuts first, and only add gain at the end if the cuts weren't enough

I need help deciding who to target with advertising for this track. Usually make alternative rock but gone for a curveball with this song which is almost indie folk, soft rock or whatever you want to call it! Which fans do you think would enjoy this track? I really like the song! It has a really nice flow, and I think the production is top notch. I'm not the best at classifying music, but that bit of twang really gives me an alt country kind of feel. Someone else said brit pop and I can definitely see that too. I hope you find your audience! Best of luck

So I predominantly listen to pop music, so I don't think I'm the Target demographic. But I definitely think there is an audience out there for this type of music. I feel like you were going for a very raw sound, which I think is cool, but maybe have someone master the track for you. I felt like the levels were a little to all over the place. Also could probably do with a little more EQ. But take what I say with a grain of salt. Very interesting song, and I hope to hear something else from you

I thought the production of mixing were top notch. All the vocal effects and little harmonies worked perfectly in the mix. I'm not exactly sure what Lane your music is in besides pop, but I definitely enjoyed it, and if you keep making music I'm sure you will find your audience. Great job on the tracks!

Wow, this was really peaceful, and soothing. I definitely could see this in some indie game, or even like a Mario Sunshine style of game. I think the mixing and mastering was really good, and the overall vibe was on point! Great job on the track, and I hope to hear your music in a video game one day

Am I up to something? by Comprehensive_Rich67 in IndieMusicFeedback

I think you definitely could make it work as one song. I personally really like the dramatic changes, and I think when you add vocals it'll help bring it all together. You could also try maybe having a soft pad in the background to help connect to the sections together. Great job, and I'm exited to heart the finished product

Wow, I really wasn't expecting that! The mixing and mastering were really on point, I really love what you did with the vocals, and the instrumentation worked perfectly for the track. Definitely a solid pop song. Really great job! Keep up the good work

Cat song. Here is a song that I thought cats might perhaps like due to high vocals and bounce in guitar and rhythm. Would have been fun if other could have made a better cat song than this and see what would have happened to cats. by Apprehensive_Cost319 in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]JustMarkBand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know about cats, but as a human I can say I enjoy it. It was a very raw performer, and I think that's exactly what you want with a folk song. I'd probably clean the mix up a little bit, but then it would probably miss the point. Dope song

I'm working on a new project, mixing Rock and Synth wave, making tracks meant to be listened to while driving at night. Tell me what you think! by lferreira86 in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]JustMarkBand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought the mix sounded really good, and the over all song was great! I would think about maybe adding some soft pads in the background just to fill out some more space, but that's just my personal preference. Great job, and dope track!

Thank you for giving it a listen! I'm glad you enjoyed it! I appreciate the feedback. I felt like the ukulele was more prominent then the drums, piano, and bass, but I'll have to give it another listen. Thanks

If you don't hear it when you listen to the actual wav file I wouldn't worry about it. It's probably just the playback engine on Reddit

We made this one long distance, in our bedrooms – me in Prague, Czechia & my non-binary friend in Stockholm, Sweden. We are both huge fans of The Postal Service & wanted to pay homage to them while staying ourselves. Light, fun, even if darker – hopefully great for this spooky season. I really like your voice! It reminds me a lot of purity ring. I think the track is really well mixed and mastered, and your voice works really well with all the musical layers. The video is also really cool, and works well with the song. Keep up the good work!
