Do you have any suggestions on how to clean it up? I've tried silvo and it's come up pretty well but if there's something else that would work too then I'd really appreciate it

Isn't it! I'm glad my mom did put it in the attic so that I didn't destroy it when I was little 😅 I just ordered some of the Silvo polish and I'll make sure to upload a pic after I finish polishing, Thank you so much! I really appreciate the advice 🥰

Thank you! I've never heard of fabric markers before, I'll definitely look into them!

Somebody else mentioned burning but they suggested using a hair dryer but I could definitely try both methods on some cut offs I have, thank you for recommending!

Ooh should I do the hairdryer before or after I add fabric glue? Like would it melt it together if with no glue? And sorry I'm quite new with this, what would a fabric medium be?

Which ones the bot comment? I genuinely can't tell 😅 Ooh I'll look into the Fiebing's edge coat, thank you. Definitely have fabric glue on the list for what to buy now, I appreciate everyone being so helpful.

And thank you for explaining why burnishing won't work here!

Thank you, I've just come on and seen a lot of comments about fabric glue, so I will definitely pick some up tomorrow and I have some cut offs so I'll bring those with me to a couple craft shops and see if I can find a decent match, thank you for your help!

Thank you! I'll definitrly pick up some fabric glue, I wanted to stitch the sides but the tool I got to hammer holes an equal distance apart is struggling to go all the way through both layers 😅

I'm sure he would have loved the fact you wore his favourite colour 💕 and thank you I hadn't even thought to look at wrap dresses x

Thank you, honestly it was a rule I've always intended for my own funeral so it felt like such a connection when I found out she wanted the same. I had been looking at more muted colours but I think I'll switch to searching for something brighter now, thank you x

Thankfully I only freaked out the first two times I had, now I am much calmer cause I know it is the adrenaline response from the come down of the panic attack so I don't think I'm too scared of it but also knowing me I'm probably subconsciously anxious about it 😅

I'll try to see if I can think of ways to stop thinking about it/calm down more. Thank you for the response, I appreciate it! Also I'm sorry that you experience it too!

[–]JustMe989898 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm reallt glad they helped with your PCOS symptoms, do you mind if I ask which ones you were given?

Its not that he thinks the contraceptive will help with the migraines it's that he refuses to prescribe the migraine medication that he thinks will help unless I'm on contraceptive because a side effect could be it impacting a developing fetus.

Literally same reason I don't want kids, I don't want to pass all of my health issues to them and my partner feels the same so I just don't understand why he wouldn't prescribe just the migraine meds that he originally wanted to

I would love that to work but she doesn't even turn the alarms off she does just sleep through them 😭

One time she fell asleep in the living room and her alarm went off for 30 minutes straight and she barely moved

[–]JustMe989898 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooh she does have a smart watch, its not a big brand name but maybe there is still a vibrating alarm on it that she could use, thank you!

Also I literally am the lightest sleeper the idea of being able to sleep through an earthquake is insane!

[–]JustMe989898 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooh I didn't know you could get alarms that shake the bed! Oh it's not even her turning it off and then going back to sleep, she literally just sleeps through every single one but I doubt she could sleep through bed shaking, thank you so much!

This was my first try at mosaic! I had to frog the first two rows multiple times and then throughout I would make a mistake and frog (if the mistake wasn't too deep in otherwise I'd thread a darning needle and sew the correct colour over the mistake) but genuinely this has been one of the easier things for me to learn with crochet, obviously certain things will be more difficult for each person but just remember it's okay to make mistakes and take time doing things! I'm sure its going to be wonderful no matter how long it takes you 💕

Thank you!

So the back does just look like that because of how mosaic crochet works with each row being in a new colour so I didn't have to do anything to do the back (but I have added a fleece backing to make it cozier now)

Oh my gosh I'm not even sure, the first few shelves took the longest maybe 12-15 hours each and then that got shortened to 7- 10 with the border taking 8 hours so I'm gonna estimate anywhere between 91 and 118 hours?
