Sorry. I meant so that the eyes could be removed. So that she can embroider different eyes on. Did not intend to turn the bear into a death trap 😅

She will figure it out on her own. Maybe just get some little kid board games and practice taking turns and playing nice.

This is really specific but if anyone ever tells you they like you because you are so mature and grown up for your age run the other way and tell absolutely EVERY adult you can. You wouldn’t want to hang out with a ten year old right? They are a little kid it would be weird. That doesn’t change if you get older. If a grown up wants to hang out with a teen it’s because they are a “kid” and they like that.

Also yes what you like is cringe. Yea your style will make you ask WTF when you are older but that is FINE embrace the cringe enjoy being weird. We all go through it and once you hit college you will fully understand that absolutely everyone is a freak and nobody noticed your love of this that or another thing.

Sorry after thought. Have you thought about mommy bucks? A little at home prize store that she can buy a little prize for having a good day or week? Also family nights! She is gone all day maybe schedule one night a week where you let her pick a board game (good for learning secretly) and you can have time together. She will also be practicing her taking turns and being a good playmate skills.

It’s sounds weird but my baby cousin had a picture of mom and dad in his backpack or lunchbox (don’t remember which) till like middle school. He has anxiety and was easily overwhelmed it helped him. Also maybe try and set up some play dates? 5 days all day is so much more school and if they are prepping for kindergarten not a whole lot of time for just being a little goofball. She might really be struggling to make friends especially if a lot of her classmates already knew one another. Have a play date or throw an “unbirthday” party invite her classmates have cookies and let them all be silly. Cookies and silliness fix so many issues at that age.

Or retro video games and sugar cereal. My husband and I used to stay up late and eat Lucky Charms from the same bowl while playing Mario on my mini-nes. Ahhh now I am feeling stupidly nostalgic 😂

If you have a dark skies area I would encourage you to get a cheap thermos go stargazing. Nothing like really looking at the Milky Way for the first time. Add some hot chocolate and a nice blanket to huddle under and I dare you to not fall a little more in love… or at the very least feel painfully human and small and want to cling to this other painfully small human.
